Sorin, if you don't have any thermo camera at all, try looking for CAT S60 - it's actually a smartphone with FLIR camera built in. I'm using one on construction site every now and then (while using it as everyday phone too), and it's great. Last time I tried to repair MSI MS-16GH board I used it aswell, it's working nice and dandy in -40 degree Celsius up to 150 degree Celsius environment. Keep up the great work and please, don't mind the haters - each time you adress them, you actually feed them and instead of putting out the fire, you make it grow.

it is better to check the iphone 7 plus before cleaning so the damage is clear and after the repair is done clean the board. and since you are dealing with iphone repair, a suggestion to get the cable with the battery sockets that can be attached to your power supply and that way your hands are free to work on the board while power connected.

You shouldnt leave bridge instead of mosfet, laptop wont work properly and wont work with batterry. There was diode or charger damaged. Costs $3 on aliexpress.
@sergelavallee9135 жыл бұрын
You still have a lot to learn Sir.
@Radek__5 жыл бұрын
S G: I was thinking about the same. But here he is lucky I think. That mosfet is not for "switching" source between charger voltage or battery. This is only for a protection to stop charger voltage. You have right - if there was no short on the board, then probably the charger ic is bad, so laptop is working now but will not charge the battery anymore. It could be 5 fucking minutes more, to check if that mosfet is bad, and if yes, then read the numbers from it, check in google what it is (n-channel or p-channel) and take any from other donor boards, which he has there. But I'm thinking that he knew that it will be more charger ic issue than bad mosfet only. (Mosfet usually if is bad, it makes a bridge)
