I got one this summer and I really like it. It's perfect for commuting in NYC with its compactness and light weight. The suspension works surprisingly well and has a good amount of power, no problems on hills. Of course the company has a great reputation for quality.

@@ElectronSurfer Especially for this type of scooter too. People interested in it like it because it's low weight / high portability and yet is supposed to have a best in class range. So seeing a detailed range like this is critical to understand if it will withstand an individual's daily commute. @ElectronSurfer3 жыл бұрын
I haven't ridden the g30. The regular Max is a totally different scooter. This one is faster, more compact but the ride is rougher even though it has suspension. I have heard the range on the Max is nowhere near advertised. Sounds like I need to review a G30!

The ninebot scooters are best if you're in UK or tropical country because they have a IPx5 rating on the body and IPx7 rating on battery and internals. It's tough, well built has good range, can handle the rain but it's slow and heavy. You can always mod your max tho, you can run CFW and install 48v battery with 500w motor, that's why people love the max. The e-twow 2021 model also has decent water resistance and even faster, but the best thing is it's lite weight and compact.

Hey there @Ginger On Wheels! I use a Sony action camera with GPS. There is a Sony app that then lets you do the overlay. @ElectronSurfer4 жыл бұрын
@Jordan Davies, I think most scooters are kinda low for guys of your height unless you have pretty long arms. To me the Etwow's potential issue is the deck, a wider deck would give you some more potential riding positions to offset your height. 41" from the deck up is about as high as I've seen stock scooter handlebars. Thanks for asking.
@RONNIEJNZN3 жыл бұрын
I guess it's either bumpy ride or flat tires. Another reviewer doing a review on a diff model I was looking at got a flat on the unboxing ride. That was a 61 lb scooter.
@ElectronSurfer3 жыл бұрын
I have gotten a first ride flat on a ebike, luckily not on a scooter...what a buzz kill! I would say it is either a "buzzy" ride or flats. The Dualtron Compact, Varla Pegasus, and Etwow scooters have solid tires and good enough suspension to remove most of the bumps, however there is a level of road buzz through solid tires you just can't remove totally. Repairing flats is a huge bummer and I hope we see more advances in tires as scooter get more popular.

@@jadenrobinson5736 Can you switch the display, or use the app, to give you the current voltage? The signs of a battery failing are typically quickly dropping voltage either fresh off charger, 54.6 and dropping quickly. Or full charge voltage but scooter shuts down very soon under load. Since if it feels like it is trying, it is unlikely the battery, more likely a connection, the controller, or the motor.

Haha, no I don't think they could become smaller. Ironically, they are more stable than some other scooters with wider ones, it could be due to the front motor or stem angle.
