Great explanation. thank you. My sample is pretty pure, by NMR and HPLC. I took the ESI and it's terribly crowded with nonsense numbers. why is it like that?

Hello Lucas! Could you please explain why the droplets are charged? Where does this charge come from? Does it have something to do with the fact that acids are used as solvents, so there are protons present in a solution?
