and this is why alot of those artists like that dont put out new music for awhile, for what? when the royalties checks are coming in furiously you can sit back and enjoy life and work on music at your own pace at that point, not having to worry about deadlines and such, which im sure they negotiate once they get bigger. and their price tag goes up as well. when alot of artists "disappear" this is exactly why. they are kicking it and enjoying the fruits of their past laboring.
