Hello, thank you for Your review. What about the Steep slopes? How dors the bile behaves there. And for YOUR usage, how many km do you do with a simple charge
@VRMinde
@VRMinde 24 күн бұрын
I probably cannot answer these questions... Denmark has few very steep slopes as it is a flat country overall. And where I was cycling uphill - with me pedaling I am doing 30kmh or so so it works fine... And the range really depends on how much you will pedal. I am not afraid at all to go for a 60km trip and maintain 30kmh over the whole trip, but I am putting effort into pedaling myself for sure.

Hi just wondering if you now how to unlock the speed from 15 mph to full unrestricted, cheers

uh I can't remember now, but I think you had to hold two buttons (probably + and -) after you turn the bike on, it will open some parameter menu and one of the parameters was max speed. I hope I remember it correct

Is it waterproof, does it have a good warranty?
@VRMinde
@VRMinde 13 күн бұрын
I was riding it in the rain multiple times no problem. And I use daily another eleglide bike that is actually stored not under the roof. More than a year stored under rain and no problems. Did not have to deal with any warranty issues so I don't know.

I bought this bike to do some shorter food delivery shifts. I consider it an upgrade from my 20 Euro marketplace bike :D

@@VRMinde Overall I’m happy after the first use. The only 2 negatives I would say would be the gears aren’t perfect and will need some adjustments. Also, the tires aren’t the best and I was skidding all over the place on the cobblestone but knowing that I can be more aware next time. Overall happy. If something changes I’ll be sure to update 🙂

Hi, I have a question. From what i've seen in your review and in other videos about this bike, there is a lot of "ghost pedaling" with this bike. I'm interested in buying it but the thing is, i want to exercise from time to time too, not just "pretend" like i'm pedaling, you know what i mean? So i want to ask, could I get a little bit of leg workout with this bike if i am to set the assist level to 1? And then play with the gears a little bit so that i can actually feel like i'm pedaling like on a non electric bike. Or is it simply not possible with this bike?
@VRMinde

Hi. Think about the levels as “max speed” to which the bike assists you. I can’t remember now the exact numbers, but let’s say you set it to level 1 - the bike will go almost full power until it reaches 15km/h and will try to maintain the speed not lower than 15km/h: if you pedal to higher speed - you are completely “on your ownn”, you get no assist above 15kmh. Set it to speed 2 - same story but 20kmh, etc. For me it actually works and I get shit ton of workout as I set it to 30kmh and always trht to go more than that myself. If there is a wind gust - bike helps me a bit. Did I manage to explain? :)
@raziel0729
@raziel0729 10 ай бұрын
@@VRMinde Yep, understood. It appears that assist level one will maintain the speed up to 12km/h (checked on their website). So once i reach 12 km/h then i'm on my own, but at the same time it still doesn't feel like an non electric bike since you still feel a little bit of assistance from the motor which maintains your speed to at least 12km/h right? Sorry for the noob-ish questions, never rode an electric bike before :D. I'm trying to find out more about how it works and compare it to low budget ebikes from Decathlon like Riverside 520 E and Rockrider E-ST500. You should review them! :D
@VRMinde
@VRMinde 10 ай бұрын
Right, above 12kmh you will be responsible for all the speed :) When you get to 11.8 or so it will start helping you again. Never tried Decathlon bikes, maybe I should :) However, on more high-end bikes there is way more adjustments you can do. On my DIY mountainbike it senses how much force do I apply to the pedals and I can adjust the assist I need based on that. I can also limit the wats of the assist- so it is no longer based on speed. I can set "give me extra 100W all the time I am pedalling" or 200w or whatever, despite of the speed I am riding at. I like this more than the setup on the bike we are talking about. At the same time, as I said, I am getting both a good speed and enough of workout. I am not using it as a moped :) I do a lot of pedalling.

@@VRMinde Ah that's awesome, thanks bro. Well one of the ebikes from Decathlon (the Rockrider E-ST 500) is a mid drive bike. I think this is what you mean by how the bike "senses how much force you apply". You should really check it out and maybe do a review. I think it's probably the cheapest mid-drive ebike on the market. Also, the other bike, the Riverside 520 E has a hub motor but a torque sensor! So i think this one also senses how much force you apply.

Hello! I would like to know the battery capacity for a single charge and how far it can go on that charge.
@VRMinde
@VRMinde 7 ай бұрын
Hi, it is 15ah battery. The range will depend on how much do you pedal and what speeds do you go :) I never know how to answer the range on electric bikes as you can turn of the battery and cycle forewer 😅
