To clear possible confusion. That clarity is a support gem, I think the down left buff effects don't include/show support gems but only the buffs. You can however (I believe) see the clarity effect if you go to advanced info on supported skill. In Poe1, clarity is an aura(buff), but here, it's been made into a support gem.

elemental expression is a spell and costs alot of mana. it does very little damage and it's more of a support skill. i have tested it quite alot and concluded that it is not worth the ascendancy points, atleast on an attack based build :) looks cool tho

Depends on how often you are triggering it but there's always going to be a meta. Picking up meditate, I am blizzard or I am thunder are great choices or even lead me through grace for extra spirit. Those are definitely strong of course

@@TERUMIBULLY due to the cool down even if you manage to crit cap yourself you're damage is never going to reach the levels of regular bell charge staff monks. It's not going to get into the same play area as stat stackers. That said I'm cooking something up for fun using temportalis to remove the cool down on ele expression. It won't be near meta but could be fun.

@InitialDraal it's by spell dmg , you have to buff spell dmg and anything that affects projectiles . I just posted a video of me beating tier 4 xesht with my elemental expression build .

@ I know, but unless you play collapsing horizon the damage of the ascendancy node is not worth it

Lv 62+ djinn’s will give you the third ascendency, for trial of chaos you need a 70+
