They need to retrain the Neo Spacians and make them with actually relevant effects. There need to be Neo Spacian monsters that make it viable to summon the fusions. Neo Spacians that recoup your lost card advantage from contact fusing a Neos fusion and Neo Spacians that can special summon Neos from the main deck and GY. Blue Eyes had it. They can do it with Neos if they really wanted to. As it stands Neo Spacians are below trash tier.

What they need to do is just make retrains of the original Neo Spacians that are "always treated as" the corresponding one. make one a searcher, make a Neo Space that searches on activation and for the love of god get one that searches miracle contact because its one thing that all the main monsters are bricks but it's another entirely that the best card in the deck isn't searchable

They also need to SS Neos a crapton. Some could SS him from hand or Deck, and others could SS him from hand or GY... kinda like better Lv. 4 "Felgrand" warriors. Or they all could just SS him from literally everywhere, including Banishment, because Neos needs all the help he can get. ( _Side note: Why isn't "Banishment" a term for PSCT yet? Having to write out "or that is banished" is so much clunkier._ ) Secondly, a "Neo Space" retrain needs to be so much better than just a searcher. At the very least, it should also SS the Fusion Materials listed on a "Neos" Fusion Monster that returns to the Extra Deck (if you want it to return, hopefully) and somehow protect said Fusion Materials or Fusion Monsters. Perhaps it could always be treated as "Neo Space" so that "Neo Space Pathfinder" could search/recur it too. Further still, the worst part of the archetype is Neos himself. Barely searchable, impossible to summon in-theme... We need a better retrain of him than Neos Alius (or Prisma, if that counts). Hell, even just making it always count as "Elemental HERO Neos" with its only other effect being "If you control a "Neo-Spacian" monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand)" would be enough. And even if you have all of this, it doesn't mean jack if the Fusions themselves are lackluster. I'm not saying they need to be as good as Knightmares, but some protection and toolbox Quick Effects would be nice. And to further support them, make a Link Monster requiring at least 1 "Neo-Spacian", "Neos", or "Neo Space" monster that's just "Miracle Contact" on legs and/or searches "Miracle Contact" or cards that list "Elemental HERO Neos".

Eventually, Neos will get a searcher that adds "contact" spells like miracle contact or contact out, it's already a unique name exclusive to the Neos archetype. Konami probably planned out all of this they just haven't found a set to relase Neos support perhaps LD4.

Actually that is better. Summon a HERO monster, discard Honest Neos to boost HERO's ATK by 2500, play Miracle Contact and fuse using Honest Neos (that is treated as Elemental HERO Neos), summon Neos fusion, attack the opponent/opponent's monsters, use Contact Out and special summon Honest Neos and Neo-Spacians, discard a Hero monster from the hand to increase Honest Neos ATK and potentially finish off your opponent.

The worst part about neo spacians is Neos. How to make Neos good. Make a spell card that does this. Special summon one elemental hero neos from your hand, deck or graveyard and if you do reduce its attack to 0 also you cannot special summon monster from the extra deck except fusion monsters for the rest of this turn. Instantly Neo Spacians go from absolute trash to just bad.

Just wanted to clear something up since the contact gate video and you mentioned it in this as well. The ruling for contact gate makes it so that you banish 2 monsters with diff names from the gy and summon 2 diff named ones from the deck. You can summon the same named ones you banished you just cant summon 2 of the same one. So in your example you could banish grand mole and panther than summon a copy of mole and panther from the deck if you wanted to. Not trying to throw shade or anything just wanted to let you and others know how the effect actually works. Side_Note.mp3: Personally im loving the neo space support. Contact gate makes summoning 3 fusions easy and rewards a faster pace gameplay for the deck rather than the shitty protect neospace or bust gameplay before. I understand that the set-up is a bit much for the card but I feel as if it boosts both the speed and power of the deck when it goes off. I personally think slash draw is pretty good in this deck allowing you to dump spacians for a contact gate, neos for a miracle contact, and shuffle in key resources like prisma, hero lives, and slash draw. Im gonna have to playtest this new fusion since my neospacian deck doesnt utilize panther since i dont really use the solo fusion and his glow moss fusion would require me to run glow moss and thats a no until they make it somewhat worth it. However the spacians used for the fusions have nice effects and this is a stupidly powerful boss monster that can be turbod with similar ease to that of an air neos. Neat vids as always man! Btw dont mistake this as me saying the deck is great its just good/okay to me. Like Heroes, Amazoness, or Worms.

You know one thing that could fix a big problem with most Neo Spacian Neos fusions? A simple change in text. Instead of “You do don’t use Polymerization.”, change it to “You do not (have to) use Polymerization.” Boom! You can still contact fuse if you don’t have a Poly. But you are not forced to exclusively that.

They just needed to have neo space have the ability to summon back neos when your neos fusion leaves the field. That way you can choose to tag out your fusion in the end phase, get some strong effect, and then get neos to cover your ass. (Probably also add in immunity to your neos fusion effects so nebula neos can't banish it, storm neos can't shuffle it back, and magma neos can't bounce it) they just need better resource management options, the effects of the neo-spacians and neos himself don't matter when they're just fusion material for your actual boss monsters. So basically, a way to make triple contact fusions easier and more consistently, a way to retain field presence so you can actually afford to shuffle your triple contact fusions, and a way to ensure that your summons and effects actually go through. They don't need help in regards to actual power plays, since the triple contact fusions are all pretty good boss monsters, and the single fusions are at least decent for the most part. It's just getting there that's the problem.

We need: an "Eternal Soul"-esk card for Neos (without the blowing up the field effect), a new field spell, ways to swarm with the Neo-Spacians and ways to buff their individual effects, so that playing all 6 is viable and some way to protect oneself from the Neo-Spaciain Triple Fusions' effects which negatively hit both players.

You know how they could've fixed Neos, yet kept it from being broken? Simply make a new field spell that essentially swaps and rotates Neos fusions, by sending Neo Spacians to the deck from the GY, and returning Neos from the GY to the deck (since y'all using Prisma to contact fuse anyway) That way triple fusions can be summoned more consistently, Nebula, Magma, and Storm Neos can exploit their effects in opposition to Neo Space focusing on keeping them on the board. Set rotation becomes more viable, Contact gate gets more usage, and have it be treated as Neo Space so it can get the Neo Space search support.

This is not really the support Neos needed. They didn't need strong fusions, they already have strong enough fusions (in a vacuum anyway due to neo space, pun intended). If they need anything it's a way to summon the damn things outside of "miracle contact" and better main deck monsters whom, outside of grand mole, were terrible even for the time they were released. If Dark Magician got Eternal Soul (as eh of a card as that is) why has Neos gotten less for like a decade.

The weakness of Neos decks are they need the entire archtype to be functional. If a card Nebula Neos was in a decent archtype such as a Cyber Dragon, Six Samurai, Synchron, or Naturia archtype, it would be extremely broken.

It's a defining mechanic of the archetype. The real sin isn't that Neos shuffles itself into the extra deck, but the fact that Gladiator beast do the same thing, except better (Bring out materials to make further plays), and honestly the new Neos support should be borrowing some ideas from them.

If you have an absolute nuts hand you can summon this, use it's effects draw a lot of cards and negate something. Use contact out to summon the materials back and summon it again to draw and negate again since it's not HOPT

You can still summon dpanther n gmole from contact gate, even if the two you banish is also 1dpanther n 1gmole. The "diff names eff" means you summon 2 of them with diff names. 😉

I get it. It is a retrain of the old Neos contact fusions. But why should I summon a monster that bannishes everything face-down at the end of my turn? I meam you can draw a lot of hand-traps, but how will you use this card? Summon it if the opponent has a well-established field and no cards in the hand, bannish all monsters face-down and hope their topdeck doesn't allow them to OTK you. Why is this so garbage? Just let it bannish all cards your opponent controlls in addition of summoning a Neos from hand, field or graveyard. And Elemental Hero Neos you control can not be destroyed or targeted by your opponents card effects until the end of your next turn. Was that that hard?

You can negate his own effect so he doesn't get shuffled at the end of your turn but it will at the end of your opponents hehe

My original Idea First Contact Normal spell Send 1 neo spacian from your deck to the gy, add elemental hero neos or a contact card from your deck to your hand. If a monster returns your deck because of a fusion summon or its effect, special summon elemental hero neos from your deck. Neos already has strong fusions. Any Neos fusion monster with Neo Space has at least 3000 ATK. The biggest weakness of Neos decks are a lack of consistency, overreliance on Neo Space, and having any of the Neos fusions last for more than 2 turns.
