Elementor Pro Popups Tutorial

With this amazing feature you can create popups, cookie consent notifications, sales, email opt ins and much more. You can choose where to display the popup in the website. You can choose when it should be triggered. On page load, On scroll, On Click, After Inactivity or On Page Exit Intent.
You also have advanced rules. Show the popup after X page views, after X sessions, up to X times, when arriving from a specific url, when arriving from a search engine. You can hide the popup for users and decide on which device to show it.
You can use Elementor Pro Popups in combination with your email marketing provider like Mailchimp or Convertkit.

I would like to trigger the popup from a button on the Main_Menu The problem is that the link does not offer the option of a dynamic link from the menu. I have a question that may be silly but here it goes, I have a WP site that wasn't made with Elementor at all but I want to add some popups with my recently purchased Elementor Pro plugin without doing any changes to the original content. Will this cause any conflicts or do I need to start from scratch? Can I use Elementor Pro JUST for popups?

All you should need to do is have Elementor Pro installed and activated on your WP site, and you can add as many popups as you like onto the pages that you convert to Elementor. Once a page is edited with Elementor, WP editing is disabled. The conversion over to Elementor is simple if the website pages are exactly as you want them; I think it drops the existing information over in one block. So if you want each section to be individually editable, you'll just have a bit of copy & pasting to do. So no, Elementor will not change your original content and you do not need to start from scratch. As far as I know, you cannot use Elementor Pro just for popups on a page whilst still default editing with WP, but you can enable Elementor on certain pages, and keep other pages in WP editor if you choose.

Just wanted to say thanks for your very generous and amazing tutorials. They are very helpful. I especially enjoyed the bits on the email signup. Thank you. I do have one question if you don't mind... I've created my popup for an age verification but am having trouble getting it to appear only once. I need it to appear one time, no matter what page someone comes to on the site. If I set it to "entire site" it shows up every time I change pages. Any idea how this works? I can't tell if my cache is preventing me from seeing the popup. It seems there would be some way to view the popup as if a new site visitor would see it. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Ferdy thank you for the great Tutorial on a great new Addition to Elementor Pro. I have a question that wasn't directly answered by the step you showed to get a Pop Up to...Popup! I am not a developer or Coide guy so maybe I missed a simple thing, but I have a Genesis Theme Website I am working on. On its Primary Header Menu I have a "Login" entry in the Menu. I want to have the Pop Up engage when they specifically click on that "Login" menu item...not just a random click on the page somewhere. In a Ultimate Add-on tutorial they show a Modal Popup > Display Settings >Custom Class > Class "display-popup" used with a Elementor Button CSS Class but not a simple Menu Item. On multipaged sites this is no problem, but when I have a onepager with ID anchor links in menu, the menu stays open when user clicks a menu item. Any tips how to have the popup close after click?
