Great work on this update, like many here it came at a great time in the development of my build. I have a question regarding adding a Hero Template on a normal page, not in Theme Builder. For some reason it is not displaying the Nav-Bar for me to change to the Title Bar Layout. Any ideas why please? Thanks in advance!

Perhaps, there is a possibility of a conflicting plugin issue, To find out the issue, we need to check this in the default setup. Can you please deactivate all other plugins except for the BuddyBoss platform, Elementor, and both of their Pro versions? If this solves the issue, activate them one by one to find out which one was creating a conflict. If that didn't work, please submit a support ticket at BuddyBoss.com so our team can look at this further and help you fix it. Thanks!

Does the header template using template builder still work without having elementor pro?

Some of the templates should work with free version of Elementor however, for the Header templates, to work fully, it needs Elementor Pro.

@@neilwilliams2883 It will show in regular Elementor also. Did you update your BuddyBoss Theme (not the plugin)? Make sure to update your theme to v1.5.5 and you should see it.

BuddyBoss thank you... I've done that and it is appearing now but I've come across a new issue... I tried using one of the hero sections which looks fantastic but I can't edit the 'nav menu' because it only seems to be available in Elemntor Pro - am I right or is there another way I can get around the nav menu issue with the hero section? I don't mind getting Elemntor Pro if I have to but I just want to know whether or not it is necessary.

It requires the Elementor Pro plugin to be able to edit the navigation menu for the Hero template.

Thanks! For a multivendor WooCommerce shop you should consider WC Vendors Pro plugin. It is for that purpose and works nicely in BuddyBoss.

You may use any WordPress or 3rd party theme with the BuddyBoss Platform, but it’s not going to look as great as when using the BuddyBoss Theme and we cannot guarantee that all the built-in functionality of the BuddyBoss Platform will work well with other 3rd party themes. The BuddyBoss Platform and BuddyBoss Theme really go hand in hand for the out of the box experience.

@@BuddybossWP I love the layout, but would really like to see a dark theme or color scheme. or even a Night Mode. If there are thousands of users, it going to get very old seeing all the same websites.

@Matthew Brown At this time, the dark/night mode theme setting is currently limited to the lesson pages only. We do not have the option yet to enable it in the entire site. You will need to manually modify the color palette in the Theme Options should you want a dark theme. We'll pass the suggestion to the product team. 🙂

Awesome! We do not have any widgets for GeoDirectory specifically. But you can mix and match any Elementor widgets together into the same page, so if GeoDirectory makes Elementor widgets they will work together.

Yes, it is possible. You can use Elementor as your page builder then you can add new page for your Landing page (without any menus or navigation).

One question please: in your earlier video on page templates (Jun2019, here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3bJiWZ8Za2WfJo), the recommendation to create landing pages was to pick "Full Width Content" template, so that you keep the BB theme header as in other pages, but can use a Page builder for main content. Shall I understand that, if I pick Elementor as Page Builder, then I should rather pick one of the new Elementor page templates (such as "Elementor Full Width"), and still I can inherit from the same header bar as other pages of my BB site?

Would be great to have Learndash Elements shown in the Lesson/Topic Single page as Elementor widget (including Buddyboss navigation/functionality elements like a dark theme and focus mode fullscreen. Why limit Elementor with a theme. Educational content built-in Elementor is now very limited in its presentation with a fixed Buddyboss Lesson/Topic Single page settings. Elementor built Lesson/Topic content can't really give the best impression when it's squeezed and limited by the theme. Creating Elementor widgets as proposed would liberate content creators and website designers to do whatever they want in any manner they want. It will also diversify the approach to a course lesson/topic design and UI/UX. Would be great to see this option ASAP. Thanks!

These updates are very nice but missing some key functionality. Right off the bat I don't see any widgets to display Groups / Group Types. Also, if creating a Dashboard then the user should be able to take action right on the page. The Activity Feed is missing the comment box so the user can add a new comment from their dashboard. Otherwise very nice!

For Activity Feed you can comment right in the dashboard. It is an option in the widget settings. For Groups widget that will come, Elementor widgets is an ongoing project.
