The Boosh went from being so good to so awful, in record time. People with a good sense of humour loved the first series. People with no sense of humour and who desperately wanted to feel 'hip' and 'surreal', loved the third series. But then again, each of those said series' were clearly written for the respective audience. So kudos to Barratt and Fielding.

I had a casual friend dress up as the hitcher for Halloween when I was in college. All the other kids seemed super excited, and kept calling him Old Gregg. I was like dude, that’s not Old Gregg. I told the guy he had a nice hitcher costume and that he looked like a peppermint nightmare, and he was so relieved that someone finally got it right. 💀 Old Gregg was the meme, but The Mighty Boosh is the actual legend. Idk how you could confuse the characters, maybe because they’re both green. But dressing up as The Hitcher instead of Old Gregg was also a great choice. 💋🤌🏻
