There were some terrific players in the past too. Swoopes, Cooper, Katie Smith, Leslie, Jackson, Goodson, Griffith, Dydek, Lawson, Mabika, Milton, etc. And many more. As skilled as these players of the new era and could have done as well as now. I think we live in the moment more than anything otherwise some of the past rivalries like Sparks vs. Comets Sparks vs. Monarchs Sun vs. Shock had heated gamea and terrific hustle with amazing skillset. Perhaps the dribbling game has evolved but the defense and hustle was more in prominence before. I think both eras have their shining examples.
