Probably wasn't the individual results Frags hoped for at these Olympics but if GBR Gymnastics has taught us anything it's that goals can be reached in the later years too! She'll come back stronger

Emmy Johnson I thought the judges of strictly were mean to poor little claudia, darcey was a bully to her. Bullying celebs shouldn't be tolerated and Darcey should get the axe for it.

I dont think dancing will help her anything. I don't get Claudia coaches, they give her skills that she just can't execute. Difficult is not everything, she needs to improve her execution by downgrading to a level she is capable of. Her balance beam is particularly horrendous, she will never hit that set they are pushing on her.

I was so mad that they overlooked her in favour of Ellie and Claudia, she could have done well AA as well. I hope the coaches have learned from their mistakes as well and not just focus on where the girls went wrong.

that was big regret didnt let amy do AA, her vault, beam, floor Qualification scores were the biggest among GB team. So sad the team didnt let her do bars.

wayne launer her form was best in 2014. Her full in straight was pretty layed out. Now her back is completely arched. I was really rooting to see her in EF's.

At first I did not understand why she didn't make the final, but now I see why. The first two tumbles were not very well executed, both had visible form breaks.

Before she went on Ellie Downie had fallen on her neck and was carried out. I think that did not help, she didn't jump out of that double straight back either.

She just missed qualifying, she was in 9th place. She got a higher score then all the Russians and Catalina Ponor...she only just missed and she finished 26th AA so if she has stayed on beam, she would have made it to the final.

The Russians floor was a mess this olympics and Catalina's isn't much better so I don't see what bringing them into this proves.

Yes, she lands really low on everything. Her form in the DLO 1/1 is also not very good and she lands it in a fairly low squat. Her Dos Santos is kind of scary and she tucks it down a lot, not to mention the stumble out of it. She has some wonky leg form in the 3/1 but she got it all the way around and did not land terrifyingly like she usually does. And a lot of the small deductions on landing position add up, because it happens on every pass. As well, I am not sure why she tries ring leaps because she is not very good at them, and she doesn't have a good ring position. I do admire her power but she isn't clean, although she is working on it nowadays.

You have to think she bottled it. At the Commonwealth games with no opposition she owned almost ever apparatus, got higher scores than she did in ever event in Rio. Basically she failed under pressure.

She just didn't have a good day, fell on bars and beam and floor and vault wasn't up to her usual standard. Hopefully she'll come back next year and do great things.

Claudia was next...it did affect her. They did not know how serious is was, whether it would cost them a place in the team final, etc..if she was alright.The day before the GB men had to vault after that Frenchman broke his leg, they did not vault as well as they would have liked either.

People always argue its power or elegance, while its really difficulty or execution , people can rarely have the two, she should have watered that routine down and gain those extra tenths on execution , a chusovitina should be only a double lay ..her double arabian piked should be tucked, and she could add a leap so its worth the same , the triple twist is ok but she has a couple form breaks , maybe do a double back , but she would need the twist requirement..i dont know my point is she should have made the routine easier or change it up so she doesnt incur as much deductions

Love her own style, but honestly, I think she's lucky with those marks because her jumps did not look strong. First time I see double layout as a last jump, brave girl! But at the same time too much deductions for the spot to the final =/

Sucks too, she definitely made it around, but new rules in the COP will not value anything higher than a 1.5 on simple split/straddle leaps. Once again, they're capping the dance elements unfairly.

John Smith The rule is that normal split jumps (i.e: Split Leaps, Johnson, etc.) will not value higher than a 3/2 rotation, and that complex leaps (i.e: Ferrari, Jurkowska-Kowalska, etc.) won't value higher than a full twist. Essentially, they're just capping all the dance leaps at a D skill again.

Sam's KZbinChannel HFEDECCC is the skills she performed. She even got the value for the tour jete one and a half. The reason why her d score isn't higher is cause she didn't do the wolf jump out of her double layout and also the sissone out of her triple full

I really enjoy watching her perform but out of the gb team she is my least favourite she made some big mistakes in qualifying which led her to not making the all around which was a real shame. Amy in my opinion should’ve had the 4th bar routine instead of Claudia and should’ve competed in the all around as Amy would’ve token over Claudia and even Ellie

i have to be honest they shouldnt of gave her the AA they should've kept her on vault and floor. in my opinion ruby deserved that AA she would've made it into the AA final if she had a decent beam which claudia failed to do which caused great britain to have 1 gymnast in AA instead of most teams with 2. claudia was defo the weakest out of the rio team.
