Great video as always, Kirby! Wasn't sure how to approach this deck, but you've given me some great ideas! One question I have is regarding the counterspells in your deck: is there a reason you didn't include OG Counterspell over Negate? I figure that Counterspell might be more versatile.

Thanks! Glad it was helpful! Since the deck is three-colored, sometimes double blue can be a bit difficult to keep open. That being said, Negate is definitely a flexible slot and you could even add Mana Drain over it (and Counterspell, as well) if you wanted to.

Raffine is definitely a great commander, especially if you build him around reanimation.

Thanks! Glad you liked it! Yeah, that's the main reason I don't make budget decks. Card prices tend to always increase unless reprints happen. Sheoldred was (relatively) cheap when I built this deck.
