From the single elephant comforting the shot one, the retreat after the shot and the offensive response of the entire herd while keeping all the young ones protected in the center there is no way anyone could argue that elephants are not as intelligent and emotional as humans. Smarter too maybe as they all protect each other and obviously have love for each other too. It is very reassuring to see the number of young, some very young, elephants in the herd which means they are thriving. Also, the care and gentleness of the medical team is phenomenal. They know just how to calm and reassure the elephant. A top ten video for sure.

I speak the same language as these ppl and basically the issue is that the elephant has a giant cyst in its mouth..so they gave him antibiotics to prevent an infection. They flushed out the cyst and at the end gave it vitamins for nourishment...one guy was in charge of keeping track of its breathing...to make sure its not getting too shallow
