Between battles and the new Praetors that turn into sagas (and back!), there's so much new and interesting design space explored here. I am expecting at some point sagas that turn into sorceries, because why not.

It may be the newest and last sword, but Sword of Once and Future is my absolute favourite sword of the bunch. Elesh Norn just straight up doesn't have bad cards, no complaints from me there lol.

This card seems like it might be really good in, not suprisingly, stoneblade. Particularly the legacy versions of the deck. The ability to basically be more snapcaster mages and have protection from some very popular colors. This card can easily be slotted in and paired with kaldra compleat imo. Blue and White are generally the best colors to deal with kaldra in legacy and protection from blue means the card can't be bounced so It requires an opponent to have to swords to plowshares/Prismatic ending your kaldra. Not to meantion with kaldra having tramble, the damage trigger on the sword is pretty guaranteed. and it can even set up your own graveyard with surveil if you don't have anything yet. Not to mention it cast's those card's for free in a deck that generally likes to have open mana. Meaning you can cast free brainstorms, and ponders from your graveyard while also holding up mana for your own swords, or you could even maybe draw into threats to play on your second main phase. I think that might be the strongest purpose for the deck to have. It might even be the strongest sword for stoneblade to run period. and yes while I do know that this combo maybe seem hard to pull off, but we are talking about legacy here. Stoneblade plays 4 ponder, 4 brainstorm, 4 force of will. plus with stoneblade herself, finding and protecting this combo seems to not be so bad. Turning one of your best attackers into value engine is really strong and I would even go as far to say I think this card generally will strengthen stoneblade significantly in the format.

As swords go im not impressed. the best part about it is the protection. The surveil is alright but limiting the cmc to two for casting something out of your GY is going to be very hit or miss. Graveyard decks will like this just to get stuff into their graveyard, but the second half is just going to be very hit or miss unless built around.
