Having grown up working on cars in the 1970s when your exhaust pipe would rot out every two years, it absolutely kills me to cut off a perfectly good stainless exhaust system to accomplish this. But I’m just going to have to get over it and do it. This is an excellent video.

I wish, so badly, I could find an exhaust system for my 09 C30 T5 that adds power but isn’t louder or is only slightly louder than stock. I’d buy it immediately. It’s hard to tell from this video, but this sounds like it’s quite a bit louder.

Some customers have suggested this exhaust is too quiet for their taste. Naturally, sound/volume/tone are all highly subjective.

so does this genuinely fit the c70 T5 correctly? I saw a review on it saying the tips hung under the bumper?

It depends on your C70. Some require an exhaust shop to add short extensions (as stated on the C70 Exhaust product page).

do you have to buy the downpipe and catalytic conveter seperate or do you guys have it from the turbo to the tips

The catalytic converter is part of the Downpipe section. Downpipe + Exhaust = complete system from turbo to tips. See: www.elevatecars.com

Unfortunately, we do not get that engine in the US, so we don't have any way to verify how different or similar it is to the T5 five cylinder engine.

I think it's just a Borla muffler, I wouldn't buy the whole exhaust system if you don't need it
