You’re right! I take walkthrough videos every year to look back on planning. Great tips🎅🎄

Great tips I have a book and in that book I put how many more extension cords I'll probably need how much more PVC pipe and little things like that and then the stuff that I can buy year round I can buy a little at a time

Well done, you! I do think it's time I build PVC boarders for the window this off season.

I hate to bother you, do mind if I ask you a question. I am looking for any help or advice. Sorry this is kinda long. A few years ago I got the itch to put a few lights up and my two year old son saw them and said WOW. Which turned into me putting up 10k lights and now I have about 30k LED lights I put up. I was nervous about getting into light shows cause I know nothing about it. However I am about to get into lights shows this year. I am trying to find a way to salvage one of my setups cause of how much time I invested in it. The setup is a 3’ phrase saying “❄️HERE COMES SANTA❄️” with two 4’ snowflakes on each side and roughly 2k led lights. Do you know of a switch relay or something that I could hook this setup to that would run a simple sequence turning on just the “HERE” then turning on “COMES” and lastly turning on “Santa and both snowflakes” the it resets and starts the sequence again or turns on “HERE” and turning it off. Next turning on “COMES” and turning it off. Then turns on “❄️SANTA❄️”. Lastly turning them all on at once hold for a few seconds and then reset the sequence. All the lights are non smart LED. I am sorry if I didn’t explain that clearly or correctly. Any advice or help pointing me in the right direction. I would really appreciate it and I will make a donation to your Patreon for your knowledge, advice, and time. Again sorry for such a long comment. Thank you

Hey there! Thanks so much for reaching out. It seems that you just need a simple controller that will time the lights coming on so the phrase can be read. You can look into dedicated light controllers that are designed for Christmas light displays. Popular ones include Light-O-Rama, Falcon Player, and xLights software. These controllers allow you to program and control various lighting elements in sync with music or specific sequences. Break down the setup into different channels. For example, each word ("HERE," "COMES," "SANTA") and each snowflake could be a separate channel. This allows for independent control of each element. Only needing a few channels, you can get away with a small 16-channel controller.

Hey Charlie I got some ideas I think I let you know most of them are ready but in my old age laugh I'm starting to forget a little bit the Disney thing I mentioned a couple years to you I know you reached out you said what about who bought the Osmond lights from Disney I think that displayed somewhere else now what about some of the past winners of The Great Christmas Light Show what about some of the big Christmas light companies have you reached out to them the other ones that you don't deal with what about some of the companies that do indoors like the people that do the villages the people that do Christmas trees what about somebody from one of the big box stores that do the ordering and see what they order how they know what is going to be the big trend for the next year and maybe even some of the people from the Christmas Expos that are on you said there's three big ones what about some of the people that run the shows maybe they could explain the show and by that way we're both winning you're getting a good show and they're getting some more people that might go and definitely the blow molds and that guy that was just on not too long ago I forgot what is his name was he does the the thing that saves Christmas lights the lightsaber he's very interesting and a very nice guy

Ahhh you've read my mind once again. I plan on collabing with new vendors this year and some of those will indeed be indoor decoration companies!
