I agree! They are a classic! I think current trends have caused people to chose other flooring options as of late and I want travertine to trend more! They are so beautiful! Thanks so much for watching! I appreciate the support on my channel!

I’m a big fan of travertine floors I think they are beautiful! I agree sometimes it’s ok to purchase multiple pieces matching along with some other accent pieces. I feel sometimes we are so concerned with what is popular or trending we lose focus of what we actually like! I have always loved neutrals for over 20 years this is not new for me but I don’t like a lot of clutter. The bottom line is purchase and decorate your home the way you want and what makes you happy - it’s not like our homes are being critiqued by some well known designers for a magazine! Ijs

YES! I couldn’t agree more with this! So true. And I’m sure your home is gorgeous as timeless from the sound of it!

@@christinalnelson I like it a lot! I do get inspiration from others on YT like Sarah Wisted, you showed a few pictures from her home but I’m not quite that ultra minimalist because I love accessories and art. I always look forward to your videos and I love your front door - can’t wait to see the completed tour!

@@jeanpe1040 yes I really love Sarah Wisted’s Instagram and KZbin! I love the classic, paired back style she has but still modern at the same time. I would so I am slightly less minimal than that as well. I like a few more pieces and art and photos out. But I get very inspired by the more minimal decor. And having four kids and my husband is so hard to be as minimal as I’d love to be! Thank you so much Jean for your comments and support on my channel! I truly appreciate it!

Hi Christina! The Coke! 😊 Loved it! Made me want to get one from the fridge but I am actually sick with COVID so cold stuff doesn't feel good. I have not seen the Wassily chair! Do you own one? Very interesting chair that screams architecture and art at the same time. I enjoyed everything else in the video. Thank you! Excellent points to consider, especially the matchy matchy. One can get into trouble if not done right.

I don’t have a Wassily chair but I’m tempted! I’m thinking the mid range price point ones…. My husband has new office space for his law firm and I want him to hand over creative control to me for decorating it and I’d love to see a pair of these there! He hasn’t agreed to let me style the office though! We are both so opinionated when it comes to design and decor and not always on the same page! Hahah And so sorry you’ve been sick! I hope you’re on the mend!

@@christinalnelson I hope you get to decorate his office. I know you would do a great job. Coming from a family of lawyers I know how particular they can be :) I wanted to comment on minimalism that minimalism means different things to different people. I enjoy extreme minimalism in design when the architecture of the home is such that doesn't require anything else because it would become a distraction to the and surfaces of a home. You had several pictures today as an example. Also, I may have forgotten to comment before that your RH shelves are so nice!

@@lilicollazo750 haha lawyers are definitely that ;) but I guess that’s what I love and simultaneously drives me crazy about him! A totally agree with you about your take on minimalism is home design. I’m definitely inspired by it but not sure it completely works for me practically at least on that level as the photos I showed. My home is considered minimal compared to other’s homes but not to that level. I like a few more decorations and sentimental things as well as some art. And thank you about the RH shelves. They work perfectly and where the perfect compromise with my husband! ;)
