I really want to say thank you. Growing up in foster care and group homes, I didn’t have anyone speaking these things over me or teaching me about God in the way that this pastor has. I’ve recently found my way back to God and these sermons have been prophesying over my life, helping me to build my relationship with Jesus and providing me with the tools and information that I need to be able to continue bettering myself, my life and my relationship with God. I have seen God move MOUNTAINS within me already and I cannot thank you enough for these sermons and this church. I may not physically be there but I have found my church! Thank you! Nicole, dearest one, trust your heart and the loving things Spirit says to you where only you can hear - I often struggle with the technicalities of it all, believe me, we all do, but when I move into the space of my heart that feels a love from somewhere I can't explain the bread keeps coming. I've been stuck in a cycle because I keep biting too much of something at once, thinking too much at one time, thinking too far ahead and not enough for today. I need a 2 bedroom with a fenced in backyard for my 3 year old to be able to go outside and play in. Good not run down. Something that is beyond what I have asked God for. My lease is up in July. And I need it by then. Praying that this pandemic doesn't keep us in the 1 bedroom again for another year. And praying God will bring baby daddy home too his son and I. That we can finally move on from our past and get to know the real each other. And see the circumstances had a lot too do with how we both acted and we are both better now with everything we have had to face through all of this.

I’ve been feeling like my mind has been clouded and I have lost track of how powerful faith in the Lord is, when I begin to feel overwhelmed It’s typically due to overthinking and after this message I feel like my soul has been reattached to his good grace. I know what I have not been doing and what I could have been doing but there is no need to belittle myself because God knows where my heart lies and how eager I am to really progress and be the best son, brother, Uncle, friend, and eventually spouse because I have a relationship with God that has given me a foundation to a life of abundance. in my life people have tried to tell me "i know you, here's how:" or just tried to tell me about myself. that always annoyed me because i felt like "ok you know me right now...in this moment. but next week i will be a different person." and it is true. we evolve, grow, and step closer to our purpose each and every day. the beliefs i had last year are not the same beliefs i hold today. the experiences i had last year are not the same that i have this year. God is the only one who truly knows me and so He is the only one i will let define me. thank you Pastor Steven for reminding me of that today.

When he spoke of getting enough piece by piece I was reminded of the widow 1 Kings 17:8-16, God gave her only enough flour and oil for a meal for herself and her son. It never ran completely empty until the famine ended. But, praise God, there was always enough, one little bit at a time! (Now I’ll be embarrassed if he tells that example next!)
