Here’s my take. Casey works in events, so it’s plausible she could have been at the wedding. However, when he asked her what her initial thoughts were when she met him, she asked, “in person?” She also said she thought he was cuter in person. This indicates they were aware of each other’s existence before meeting in person. They also mentioned they had known each other for a week or 2 before Aulani. The wedding was the day before Aulani. At first I thought that perhaps he needed to do some paperwork to be able to film the wedding, meaning he might have had to work with her on that prior, then met her in person at the wedding. However, she admits she didn’t know how big KZbin was in his life until 3 months in. Therefore, I conclude they met through a dating app and found out they were both going to be at the wedding.

I'm the "Wild and Crazy Guy" with blue eyes like Kyle (I'm artistic and the tech nerd all at once), while my partner has the brown "puppy dog" eyes like Casey, and is the "Math Nerd" (he's got a MBA in Accounting and Finance) who is all about the numbers but can't cook or fix things like me.
