Onion tip for Casey… I am not an onion girl and usually leave them out, but sometimes you just HAVE to have them in a recipe. So I buy the frozen diced onions. No smell, no crying. Just measure out how much you need and put the rest back in the freezer!

I love you and Casey's relationship. You are perfect together. My husband and I haven't had many fights in our 33 years of being together ( married and dating). I think we fight more now, having a special needs daughter. (We adopted her after being married for 26 years). Enjoy your your time before having kids). Tell Casey to use swim goggles. Wear swim goggles when you cut onions. It HELPS by SO much. Whatever it is in onions that makes you cry, it blocks it.

Another onion tip - if you want to cut fresh onions - cut them near running water and then put a wt paper towel over them if you do not cook them right away. The onion vapor is drawn to moisture - which is why your eyes water. If you have running water or a wet paper towel - it will be drawn to that rather than your eyes 😊

Casey is wonderful! She is definitely a keeper. Just a side note on moving in together. There is evidence that people who live together without being married, don't usually last. Mostly because there is no commitment. I would hold off on moving in together until you are ready to get married. Or afterwards, not because it's old fashioned, just to protect your relationship. What? I'm a mom, I worry about these things!

If you need a sauce recipe I really like making Joanna Gaines’ recipe and her risotto balls from her second cookbook. One more onion tip : put the onion in the freezer for like 10 minutes and that helps with the onion gases that make you cry.

When you visit Dollywood - you should also go to pigeon forge - the islands and Gatlinburg TN .I live in Maggie Valley NC and often visit Dollywood because we are close. You would love Maggie Valley - the great Smokey mountains and the blue ridge parkway. I highly recommend it. It would be a fantastic vlog!! Tennessee and western North Carolina is absolutely beautiful and the locals are very friendly ❤
