I have dry sensitive skin. This powder is the best I have tried. Color is perfect. Wears great. Skin loves it. I have trouble with full coverage. This one works for me.

My daughter is normally into high end skin care and foundation but she has been using this elf powder and loves it she’s 25 and has normal oily in the T zone, and it looks beautiful she’s a nurse and finds her foundation holds up for her very busy 12 hour shifts! Cheers and love from Canada 🇨🇦

I still love the Maybelline Matte and Poreless pressed powder. I’ve finished a few compacts of it over the years. It’s probably less coverage, but it’s soooo nice. 👍

Yes! I had a few in the hopper that I didn't want to have them go back and change just for the outro but I now have instructions in to do the extended outro for future videos (I think I have a couple more to post that might have the shorter version but the long one will be here to stay soon!)

First off, that haircut is absolutely stunning on you! I love it! I may need to retry this powder. I love powder foundation, but didn’t like this one the first time. I think I got a color that was too light for me. You also have me wanting that Natasha Denona palette. That look is beautiful!

😂 I do prefer it as a setting powder weight rather than full on foundation if that helps dissuade you 😂 lol I was actually surprised its reviews are only 3 stars. It's a solid 4/5 in my book. It actually got me wearing powder again and I haven't been setting foundations since before the pandemic!

Hey Shelly, I am watching this video only a year later 😅. I recently pulled my Elf camo powder out from the depths of my closet and tried it with the Elf grip primer and what a difference that made for me! I am 62 with mixed skin but I need coverage for sun damage and all the living I have done. It looks fab and I am going back to this!

I have the Heavenly Luxe brush from IT Cosmetics and really love it but just received my first BK Beauty brush (the foundation brush) and am in LOVE. I have the elf Camo Powder foundation but haven't tried it on my face yet. I thought I bought the right shade but they seem to run lighter than I thought from their website. I'll try it with the IT brush (until I get my next BK one!).

Hi Shelley I can't get a shade match in this one, but my long term favourite is the Laura Gellor balance n brighten. I don't use powder foundation as my main foundation, but instead use it to give a little extra coverage to a sheer/light coverage base, or to top up coverage on my nose and chin during the day. The balance n brighten works really well on my very dry skin for these purposes and the shade porcelain is a decent match for me. Best wishes.

ooooh that Laura Geller was a MASSIVE favorite of mine! I wonder if I have any left. I think I ran out and didn't repurchase for no reason other than having so much makeup. I've bought it multiple times though. I actually forgot about it. Hmmm now I want to dig it out or buy another!

I think the editors are getting into my flow :) I will have the outro music extended again soon - I had a few videos already in the hopper that they edited with the shorter ended that I won't bother to have them re-do, but future ones will have the longer outro music :) and then I think all will be right with the world! lol

I like this product.. although, the colors tend to be a bit too yellowey on me... I prefer the bare minerals bare pro skin perfecting powder as the colors are cooler for me- but for the price point, the ELF is a better deal for sure! Thanks Shelley!

I'm loving your Boo hairband! I really like the Elf Putty Primer with Vitamin C. I got a sample of it with an Elf order. Lisa's BK Beauty brushes are great. And the collaboration she did with Angie Hot N Flashy is great. You should definitely try her undereye concealer brush. It's the best. Congratulations, on your new lip products. I'll definitely have to check them out. I think if I was to try the Elf powder foundation, I'd definitely use it with a tinted moisturizer. Love your eye look. And your hair color is fantastic. Some matte foundations do look powdery on me. In that case I use a setting spray after I apply the rest of my makeup and sometimes that helps melt it all together.

Powder foundation, my skin is way too dry I think for this. Less messy wish I could use. As it is a cheaper brand though I might give it a shot, if it doesn't work out I will use it on my nose where I have a wee bit of oil.

Is vitamin C ok to be used in the day time? I only use it at night as I thought it would not work in the day.

It's usually recommended for daytime use since its main benefit is fighting free radicals with antioxidants (so fighting the aggressors your skin encounters during the day). But I use it at night as well, as antioxidants can build up and offer some ongoing protection. Retinols I only use at night due to their tendency to make skin more sensitive to UV damage but Vitamin C I use primarily in the mornings and sometimes at night.

I like it best as a light dusting over a tinted moisturizer. I wore it heavier here to test coverage but I typically wear it a little heavier than a setting powder but not quite foundation-level layering.
