Probably not, but you can also charge it on any standard outlet and that should take about an hour or two to full charge. Also the company says 30 miles range.

Use a sturdy lock and cable or chain to immovable objects!

It also has a removable key that cuts off the power.

My 100 watt solar panel has provided 100% of my transportation energy needs for 29 months now in Florida. It constantly charges all day long while I conduct my errands so I typically return home with the ELF battery still 90% charged!

Living in Seattle, would the solar work in the 350 gray days? My other questions would be security while parking, and side wind and rain? (can't always ride into the wind!) and last, what would the miles be on a normal charge?

I lived in Seattle, there are 200 not 350 gray days. Yes it still charges slowly in light clouds. A battery takes you 20 miles with no pedaling or sunshine, both of which greatly extend the range. There are several door options but the rain mostly blows past and your elbows get wet.

What do you do for anti theft for the elf when you leave out, like when you park and leave it when you go to the store for groceries?

That's my biggest concern with this. They do have a cover that you can pay extra for that I guess is supposed to prevent theft. It costs $450 though. That's an expensive cover if you ask me. From what I've seen, I really doubt it's much more secure than a bicycle. It even has doors as an option but they're $200 EACH.

bahrta sai :| Goodness, I'm surprised that no one has even answered me yet. But yea, I'd be too paranoid to buy this thing because of how shitty my neighborhood is.. And since I live in a shitty neighborhood, there's PROBABLY A BIG CHANCE that I don't have the funds to add waaay more to make something that is suppose to be an asset into an actual asset.

You can buy a good cover for $38 on Amazon, it is for a small golf cart but fits OK. The custom cover from OT includes a clear window that lets the panel charge. Doors are not needed but there are several styles available.

There is a removable key that cuts motor power. You can chain or cable lock it to a post, you can add a disc brake lock or a motion detector alarm of a hidden GPS tracker. Only two have been stolen out of 800 and one of those was recovered. The one not recovered was not locked by the owner. This can be insured against theft too.
