I say elf for everyday wear because it give a more natural looking flush, and Milani for more glam looks, but it’s hard to pick an overall favorite. Both look good!

I have been loving the Milani cream blushes. I’m surprised by how much I like Nude Kiss because I thought “Nude for who?…” but it gives me a natural everyday flush. I ended up picking up like 3 more lol ❤️❤️

Both colors looked pretty but I thought the Elf was a better match. I agree with another comment of Elf for a more natural glow and Milani to go glam. Great vid!

i was on accutane for 6 months, 2 years ago and it helped my skin tremendously. my acne wasn’t very severe, but i’d tried an antibiotic and several creams already. I was especially concerned to try Accutane, but my dermatologist told me that it just has a bad reputation and in reality it’s the best treatment for acne. (he said it’s gotten super safe over these years) So I went on a lower dose, and I can definitely say it help me my skin recover and to this day I only get a few pimples sometimes and I definitely say it was really worth it. also I never really got any side effects from it besides a dry nose.

I did Bactrim as a last resort before my first round of accutane (years ago) and it worked really well! I was able to put off accutane for almost 2 years after being on it- I hope it works for you too! I’m kinda in the same spot as you, I’ve been on doxy and it helps but still getting some breakouts and I actually have my appointment tomorrow and I’m gonna ask to do accutane again. I’m sick of breaking out and want to get CLEAR!! I’ll probs make some videos about it if you’re curious about going on it! It worked wonders for me the first time!
@IvoryCherry3 жыл бұрын
ooo excited to see your progress on accutane a second time!!
@chongher85753 жыл бұрын
The reason why you have dry scabby spots is because it's basically a wound. When we got small wounds on our skin, it scabs over. It's our skin's way of protecting the area so that it can heal itself underneath. Also, the skin cell turn over rate in those areas are working more/faster to heal the wound. Hope this helps. 😉
@IvoryCherry3 жыл бұрын
yea I figured that was what was happening, it just stinks because sometimes I won't even have acne in a certain spot and it'll still be flakey so that can get annoying sometimes 😭

If your still on the fence, just wanted to say I am someone who's been on Accutane twice, very close together and highly recommend it. For me, Accutane was a lot less harsh than the antibiotics which played havoc with my stomach and gut. It's absolutely miraculous and it's a shame it has such a bad rep, the side effects are totally tolerable and the exposure to Accutane vs the exposure to antibiotics is less damaging long term to your body and provides better, quicker and long lasting result.

I’ve been searching high and low for a good long lasting cream blush but they all seem to be a ‘cream to powder’ finish which is so frustrating because if I wanted a powder finish I’d just use a powder!! I’m interested in the milani

Oh yea then milani is Def for you because I don't feel like it sets down to a powder so it might be what you're lookin for!

@@IvoryCherry it’s a shampoo for dandruff and dry scalp, only one that has worked for me. You should be able to get it at Walmart. I had bought a ton of it because they’re always sold out but I haven’t had to use it due to all of my hair falling out cuz of chemo. Anyway, that long ass explanation was cuz I haven’t had to buy it in awhile and I’m not sure if they still carry it 😅

I was a bit disappointed by the elf blush ( I have Tahiti) because it’s so little pigmentation even though it looks like it’s a bright blush. Oh well, I just use it as my blush when wearing a bold lip since it’s muted. The milani blushes look beautiful but I don’t need anymore cream blush 😂if you are interested in a matte cream blush then you may want to check out ones from j cat beauty ..they’re called like marshmallow or something but I was surprised how matte they are for a cream blush. And inexpensive but long lasting ❤️

im not sure if liquid blush is the same as cream blush in this instance, but these are the extent Ive tried in a non-powder form. Sooo any liquid blush, I have not yet tried

I find it amazing there was anything left of the elf blush at the 8 hour check in. I powder primed, used setting spray, topped it with my powder blush, and in the evening I already had no blush or bronzer on my face. The Maybelling Cheek heat has better longevity as an underpainting product, but it HAS to be stippled on. It doesnt blend by itself. The Milani Eye and Cheek face palette has no longevity (I topped it with that), I hate it; whats the point of something that cant even hang on for 5-8 hours on the face? am I supposed to reapply bronzer &blush every 2-3 hours? Come on. Im throwing the Elf blush out, I wish it worked for me like it works for you, but it doesnt. Im throwing the Milani palette out too. Waste of money. Ill buy an empty palette and make my own face palette with My Makeup Geek cheek products and ill be beyond happy with that. I dont want to give more products a chance. SO many duds, ugh.

I have been staring at the Milani blush in my ulta and target carts for months lol I think I might bite the bullet now. Last year I went through a pretty bad dandruff problem and got the head and shoulders detox scrub but because I have dry skin and scalp it irritated me. I used a hydrating scalp spray with niacinamide after showering and it really helped me over time.
