Thanks, this was great to watch. I am using a slightly thinner yarn, a cotton mix, and it makes a slightly thinner fabric but I wanted a summer coat version. It is for 3,5-4mm hooks. Love the colors but I am not getting the pointy wedges to be the 23,5" needed for the skirt. Bummed about it but will try and figure it out.

You can try adding more rows in between the increases on the wedges to get the length, but I always default to lengthening the border at the end because it's less guesswork! LOl :) Thanks for visiting!

Did you use the same colour changing yarn? I'm stuck on the colour of the waist band. Did you get similar colours of yarn or did you cut out the colours from the coloir changing yarn

Me getting ready to use this coat as the basis of a cosplay: I should not have the power to make this skirt so full... In all seriousness, thanks for this how to. I’ve been holding off on making my coat because I’ve been putting off figuring out how to reconcile a large, full skirt with a more fitted top.
