Elfen Lied will always have a place in my heart as being my first mature anime. I briefly read up on it on Wikipedia and was like "Alright, blood, nudity, it's Japan." Oh boy... I was not expecting such a feels trip... I still have vivid images from this anime and... ugh... I wanted to cry at the end of the series...

For some reason, I liked the Japanese one better. It goes something like.... It took me a while to realize the "ARE YOU" part at the end is her connecting those two sentences together into two seperate ideas, saying that miserable people need those inhuman and at the same time, saying those inhuman are those kids.. interesting

I think, age is a huge factor in how we see, analyze and feel things. You cried, because subconsiously you realize the fact that if you cry watching a movie/anime it doesn't mean you're letting up and getting weaker. Plus, even an extremely small amount of a nerve agent such as novichok could be delivered through air outlets in the event of a security breach, which would kill the diplo immediately. Problem is, it would probably kill all of the researchers too, as it can't be blocked by standard issue hazard gear. :/

Above 20 and below 40 metres though, the flame definately doesnt remain intense enough to cause harm to a diplo through their vectors, they can stop bullets and more, im sure even up closer that would remain true, , Nerve agent i could see, but as you said, it would kill the researchers too, let alone if they had to try to catch a diplo in a populated area
