Kept getting black screen on obs all I wanted to do was make smash bros content with my Nintendo switch but tried for hours and still got a black screen, I ended up getting a picture of my Home Screen of my switch n my obs then few seconds later my computer disconnects the Elgato, ended up returning it

I actually got it to work all I had to do was make sure it was plugged into the right USB port, the ones in the back of my cpu are the ones I needed to plug the elgato into

Ya hice todo tal cual pero en la capturadora me aparece Resolución de salida incompatible ya configure obs con el software de Elgato y sigue igual si cambio la resolución a 1080p queda pantalla negra no se que mas hacer ayuda 😢

@@ziarasioannis ya lo hice, también desinstale y volví a instalar todo sigue igual aparece un código QR que da la Solución a ese Problema directamente en la página de elgato dice que bajar la resolución pero sigue pantalla negra 😪

@@ziarasioannis I already did it, I also uninstalled and reinstalled everything, it's still the same, a QR code appears that gives the Solution to that Problem directly on elgato's page says to lower the resolution but it's still black screen

type c goes into graphic card pc or into motherbord?

Motherboard! It's type c to usb. So the USB side of the cable plug it in your motherboard!

Can u help me the audio from the hd60x is coming into obs and same with my mic but theres no audio from my headset the audio is coming from my monitor do u have any idea how to make the audio go to my headset? Do i need a chatlink?

The audio comes from the monitor from your Xbox to your monitor? How is this possible? If you mean from pc to monitor then try change it by selecting your headset or speakers instead of monitor!

Did you try switch on your headset? Maybe it's closed? If the mic works then probably something else is wrong

Maybe you to change the viewing mode hdmi1 or to hdmi2 if your screen has multiple hdmis? Or make sure all the cables to be connected securely and tight?

@@ziarasioannis SUbbed! and sorry just another quick question , Just did a test recording with the xbox and everything looks and sounds pretty good , However during the gameplay my monitor displays the game nice and bright but the recording seemed to be a bit on the dark side? do i mess with the monitor settings for that or the elgato software settings? any help would be great thanks.

@SmarOneNine well I am still facing the same issue. You have to go to the display settings on your Xbox and mess with the hdr enable and disable. It gets automatically after enabling and disabling either to more dark colors either to normal colors. Although you will do this for me it still happens for no reason while I am playing and press the Xbox.button on my controller and go to play again the colors change. It's a bug I guess and still didn't fix it. But go and mess with Xbox display settings enable and disable hdr or something similar I don't quite remember now. Or just press the Xbox button on your control and then press b you will see the.black screen with the.elgato logo and then the colors will change. I don't know.if.i helped let me.know.but for me this.is.working.

You didn’t show how to actually move that game in to obs studio? How do you show game in obs?? Lol probably so easy but my brain stopped haha

So you select your source which will be your console and it appears or automatically you don't have to do any more actions. If you need extra help text me instagram to help you

@@ziarasioannis awesome this kinda helped a lot. Looks like I was not adding source and adding game capture, and after that I selected window and game, and I think I finally saw the game in obs lol. Let me do couple tests and see if all this will work on tests and if it is okay will bug you for more questions if I get stuck somewhere. Thanks much!!!
