I’m just starting up with wanting to record my gameplay and thinking about streaming and I’m finding it quite a lot of hard work so far. “And so my fellow citizens” after much trial and error I have found out that if you’re using a headset that has a superamp like the turtle beach elite pro 2, there is a stream out audio port that captures every audio type when you connect the chat link pro cable, even my game chat, party chat and my own voice was. Captured I would highly recommend trying this out if you have a solid quality mic and headset hopefully this. Helps someone;)

@@crazedfella4791 make sure your xbox audio is setup for headphones, additionally you could check to make sure your online safety is not on child mode( happens quite often to me and this can affect game chat/party chat) furthermore check the game you are playing like modern warfare for example has setting where mic is “push to talk” this could be your problem

@@leviatkinson7311 yes I could hear the game chat audio but I didn’t need to use the chatlink pro cable as a “middle man” to the headset, instead I simply plugged in the audio capture cord into the “stream out” audio port on the turtle beach elite pro 2 superamp (specifically designed for streaming audio out)

Hey man, this worked for me on the elgato application but when I load up Streamlabs the audio from my headset doesn’t spike up the volume on the mixer, I recorded a test of me speaking to make sure it wasn’t a bug and my voice didn’t come up on the recording either. I tried using the gain filter and that didn’t work as well. Any help would be massively appreciated ❤️

I had my chat link cable connected to my PS5 to my Playsation headset. My friends at my party kept saying they heard an echo in my voice. Hey MidnightMan let me start off with saying thank you, you've actually responded to multiple comments and questions of mine in the past, I know as a content creator you're really busy so let me just say thank you for that! Now for my question, I have the chat link pro, hd60S, used with my ps5, wave link 3 mic for commentary, along with my arctis 9 headset. When running streamlabs, I've noticed my voice is really low but my teammates voices in regular team(game) chat in warzone is nice and loud. Now I've noticed that when I use the volume knob on my head set, its actually effecting the loudness of my voice n stream, so when I have it turned down to a reasonable level, my voice in streamlabs is really low, basically unhearable, but if I turn my headset volume up all the way, my voice then comes in nice and loud, however the game at that point is so loud in my ear that its unbearable, so I have to have it turned down, but then no one on stream can hear my voice, teammates hear me fine, I've tried a gain filter, but that just boosts all the game audio and doesn't help perpetuate my voice. Have you head of headset volume knobs effecting audio levels in streamlabs? and if so is here any known work arounds or fixes? IS there a setting perhaps in elgato sound capture, or game capture HD that can help with this? I apologize for the ridiculously long message, and regardless, thank you for time!

theres a workaround for wireless headsets. if it comes with a base station with optical input, you can use wireless headsets when using the audio switch from astro and get 120fps

I have the hd60s and I plugged everything in exactly how you did but when I go to obs for an audio test I still cannot hear the game audio. It sounds muted and if I turn my volume up super high I can barely hear the game audio as if it's just slightly getting picked up through my mic through all the eq settings. Of and I'm not using headphones I'm using speakers. Does that matter?

You touched on this at the end but I'm streaming Xbox X with PC using elgato HD60X and want to hear all audio in headset. The idea of a seperate mic for party chat on PS5 but would that also work on xbox? Also, I've seen some mention with chat link, that you can plug it into your PC directly vs the capture card audio slot. Would love a solution to this as I'm sure everyone wants to hear ALL sounds on their stream, just like the viewers.

Hey man, want to start out by saying great videos! I have watched them all countless times trying to get my setup working. There's one little glitch I am stuck on though. I have spent months trying to get this working. Would you be interested in messaging me and running through my diagram and settings to see where I'm going wrong? the main issue I am having is the sound. If I use Linear, the audio itself cuts out every few seconds in my headphones but the streaming audio is good. If I use Dolby, the headphone audio is good, but the streaming audio is nothing but static. I've tried both Elgato software, and Streamlabs with the same results. Running on a PS5, with Astro A40s, Elgato HD60S+ and a Mac. I've literally spent hundreds of hours trying to figure this out lol. No obligation man, just if you're bored and have free time! Hey, I'm new to all this and getting my stuff together. Will this fix the issue I'm having with the Xbox party coming through to my stream but not my voice, from my gaming headset? Or is there no fix, and I need a second mic for my stream/OBS to pick up my voice? QUESTION Im streaming for the first time and im using the chat link as well as the elgato 60x. Stream is fine, it can pick up in game audio/game chat audio as well as my computer can pick up my microphone. My biggest issue right now is that when I play cod or any game that involves me speaking to the game, it uses my PS5 mic(which sounds terrible) instead of my headset microphone which sounds better. Any fix? I am using the Corsair Virtuos headset which connects USB to my ps5 but it DOES have a headphone jack

Hey ty for your videos. I have a quick question. Can I use a elgato 60hd x connected to my tv my pc and my ps5 and add the chat link pro connected to a 3rd controller with no headset connected. Connecting all 3 controller to the same party can I record the game audio and the party chat of both controller not connected to the chat link. Yo midnight, I’m having issues with the original elgato cable, when I plug my headset it into my Chatlink cable the slightest movement or rotation of the headphone jack and female adapter on the cable it causes a static and messed up audio. Do you possibly know what could it be?

The output I get is Mono audio if the isloater is turned off and when turned on it sends Stereo but in obs it sends Mono what to do ?

My Elgato chat link doesn't work if I set it up how MidnightMan sets it up at 2:50, I plug the side with the two connectors directly into my HD60x capture card instead of the controller. It's not the way Elgato tells you to do it, but when I set it up the way Elgato/MidnightMan tell you to, the audio is all watery and distorted. Any ideas why this is? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Okay so if I’m listening to this correctly (Xbox one x streamer…if I communicate a lot with randoms in game chat and want their audio included live on stream; buy proper capture card applicable to this pro link and set up proper audio layers in OBS- but what I’d say I wanted to jump into a party chat with other Xbox users on the fly just do as we’ve always done and toggle back to party chat through quick menu or do I have to start unplugging and disabling audio layers?.. and I will still need a separate usb microphone to talk to chat even with this setup mentioned correct?

Does that chat link allow you to record chat and gameplay separately, as in if i plan on using a mixer, will gameplay audio and party audio be separated into two tracks? I get super hella echo using the dual sense and I lowered and muted the mic on the controller. However everytime I plug in my headset or the el gate chat link cable I experience the same thing. Even tried messing with the sensitivity and audio on all areas. Can’t figure out how to get rid of the echo and I’m thinking about ripping the mic out the controller any help
