great in depth review , as always, super in depth - it does seem to have quite a few issues with focusing. i think if that was my first or even second webcam, i would be quite disappointed with it. it has some good work arounds in the software though, so that's a plus. with how far webcams have come i'm not sure i'd be happy paying a little under £100 for it. bit steep.

Thank you buddy :) The image quality is good from it but that focusing was a little troublesome to be honest. Maybe future firmware updates may help resolve the issue I had with the focusing and make it a more appealing purchase.

Hey! Would you still consider the Anker Powerconf C200 the best 50€~ budget webcam for dark rooms especially? Or I could go second hand and get something like a Logitech C920 for 25€ if you think its worth it! Love your content and how straight to the point it is!

Hello there :) Thank you for the kind words, I really do appreciate them. Yes the C200 should do a good enough job in a dark room, and if you have more than one monitor on your setup switched on then this additional light will really help. I've got a Logitech C922 (I haven't had a C920 for a long time) and in a dark room it doesn't perform very well unless you do have those multiple monitors to get some kind of lighting on yourself, I'm kind of presuming that the C920 would be similar.

What's your opinion between this and the facecam? I think the facecam is a little more expensive?

I've only tested out the original Facecam so i've not tried the MK2 version or the Pro. The original Facecam has a fixed focus lens so if you bring anything close to it then it won't put the object in focus. This Neo webcam has auto focus although I found it a bit of a struggle for it to kick in when displaying something in front of it until I played with the settings in the Camera Hub software. I thought the Facecam performed better when there was no light available, but they're both decent with additional lighting, provided that you manually configure the exposure settings manually to suit the lighting you have on yourself.
