I have successfully installed the Wave Link software on an M1 Mac, but I'm having difficulty setting it up. I want to mix music from the Apple Music program or a browser or a local .mp3 file with my singing through a Wave 3 microphone and have that combined audio as my audio stream to a Zoom meeting. While I'm singing, I'd like to listen to the music to which I'm singing through headphones. It is not clear how I can make the Apple Music program or a browser or a local .mp3 file be the input to a Wave Link channel on a Mac. An explanation of how to do that on a Mac would be very helpful. A video showing how to that on a Mac would be even better. Thanks.

⁠yeah I just came across this article too. Was looking on KZbin for a tutorial on this but I guess I’m making that tutorial haha. Kind of insane I have to go into recovery mode to enable this. I understand why people struggle with this.

Hi there, great video! I got a question about the software for Mac. I’m planning on getting the Stream Deck + and this comes with the WaveLink software, no need for an Elgato microphone. Can I individually control the volume of different applications with the dials from the stream deck using the wave link software? Since MacOS still doesn’t have support for settings the volume on individual apps separately. Thank you

I've been trying to do some research the past week in trying to find some resources on how to install it but it seems like a bit of a hassle to install Wave Link on an M1 MacBook Air. Do you have any experience installing it on any M1 or M2 Macbooks? If yes, how easy or difficult was it for you? I'm considering buying an Elgato Wave 3 because I'd like a dedicated mic and I'd like to try the Wave Link software... but I don't want to buy the mic if I can't get it to work on my M1 MacBook Air.

first, great video. I just wish there was a video on how to do this with Mac. I keep running into problems where the audio from safari is all jacked up like something is trying to block it from coming through. your thumbnail indicated you were using a Mac. you're not. frustrating.

I can't figure out why there are so many videos about this software and NO ONE mentions the delay as an issue. For me it makes this thing unusable..I have a half second delay on audio...even when not streaming, just playing games with my audio going through Wave Link...I hate it.

My guess is because most people aren't running into that problem. Have you tried reaching out to their support team? Could be that you have a setting off or maybe there is an issue with your computer that they could help with...just a thought!

@@LiveStreamingPros Nah I have tried everything. Others have noticed. It's there for everyone people just don't notice. If you actually test it you can easily find the issue. I've tried reaching out to Elgato..they never reply to me.

@@LiveStreamingPros It seems like my audio delay was ONLY when monitoring with my speakers from my motherboard. But if I monitor from my headphones there is no delay. I am confused as to why there would be delay from my motherboard! My only thought to solve this is to get some kind of 3.5mm switcher and connect my headphones AND my Edifer speakers to it my headphone output on the Mic instead of the mobo. So weird
