Definitely his greatest game. FOR All non giants fan who think Eli fans who think we wont get into the Hall of Fame i get it you dont like him but the reason is because he wasn't like Peyton but as a Father who wants 2 sons who act actually alike . But as along ad they reach their personal own goals and reach the same destination i dont really care how they got There because life is definitelya roller coaster ....This was Eli best game as pro and showed his toughness..Eli is a famer no matter how he got there ....But here is my proof ..He has two of the Greatest playoff wins and season ever...Being from NYC Bronx born and raised Eli was the Perfect QB for us ...He really took on our persona here is that no matter what people say about you gotta keep pushing forward ..# HOF

Eli had 58 attempts for 2 TDs and only 5.5 yards/attempt. 10 of their 20 points, including the game winning FG, started inside the 49ers 30. Outside of that, Eli crossed midfield 2 of 15 drives. In overtime, he was 3/6, 17 yards (-10 on sacks, so actually 7), and ZERO attempts on the game winning drive that started on the 29 that he got credit for winning. That's the game that I saw. What did you see? If that's his greatest game, he's truly not a HoF player.

@tomknapp6194 Жыл бұрын
You mean where he is 32/58, 55% completion, 316 yards, 4.5 yards/attempt, and 2 TDs? Outside of starting inside the 30 on two fumbled punt returns, he crossed the 50 yard line 3 times on 15 other drives? In overtime, for the "game winning drive", Eli had zero attempts because they started on the 29? In fact, in overtime, he was 3/6, 17 yards, but -10 yards for a sack so 7 total. That is a HoF player? Without those two fumbled punt returns (how often do you see one, much less two?), the Giants have 10 fewer points and that kind of matters in a 3 point win. You must have some low standards for a HoF player.
@joesakic91 Жыл бұрын
@@tomknapp6194 But Eli still has to lead the Giants to those points where the 49ers, who tied with the Packers with the most takeaways in 2011 with 38, can get it right back. Oh, Eli led the Giants to have a 7-1 edge in third-down conversions and 2-0 in red zone touchdown efficiency. Keep hating and dissing. You're sweetening Eli's two Super Bowl titles and Super Bowl MVPs and boosting his Pro Football Hall of Fame chances.
@tomknapp6194 Жыл бұрын
@@joesakic91 Now comes the truth about the 49ers game. I feel like Paul Harvey with "The Rest of the Story"...... Eli was 32/58, 55%, 316 yards, 5.45 yards/attempt, 2 TDs, 0 ints. 58 attempts for only 2 TDs? Are you kidding me? That should be 4 or 5 TDs. And only 5.45 yards/attempt? That is a bad average for even average QBs. 10 of their 20 points, including the game winning FG, came on drives that started inside the 49er 30 on 2 fumbled punt returns. Seeing one fumbled punt is rare, much less two. Outside of those two “drives”, Eli crossed midfield 2 of 15 other drives. In overtime, he was 3/6, 17 yards (but lost 10 in a sack, so 7 yards), and had ZERO attempts on the “game winning drive” that started on the 29 because of a aforementioned fumbled punt. Let’s also throw in that the 49ers were averaging 24 points per game and scored 27 against the Giant in the season and then score 7 below their average and 10 fewer than the first meeting. And you think that game was all because of Eli? What am missing here? Trust me, it’s doesn’t get any prettier for Eli. His entire career is a smokescreen of misleading headlines. Even this video is "Eli Manning leads Giants to OT win..." which is decidedly NOT what happened, as I have just proven. Eli is really not impressive and is actually below average. And carried through two post seasons. Care to continue and learn how bad Eli truly was?

There's a reason why the Jim Harbaugh era San Francisco 49ers failed to win at least one title between 2011 and 2013: turnovers, points off turnovers (especially touchdowns off turnovers), red zone touchdown efficiency, and third-down conversions. BTW, 49ers fans, Kyle Williams, along with Vernon Davis, got the last laugh on the 49ers when they returned to the Bay Area and won Super Bowl rings with the Denver Broncos in SB 50.

Eli Leads Giants to OT win? Seriously, did you even watch that game? Eli needed 10 points off of fumbled punt returns to win by 3. Eli had scoring drives that began at the 29 and 24 because of those punts. Outside of that, Eli crossed midfield 3 of 15 other drives for 10 points. Overall, he was 32/58 (58!), 55% completion, 316 yards, 5.4 yards/attempt. Do you really consider that to be a great game? Even a good game? And he most certainly did not lead them to the win in overtime. In overtime, he was 3/6, 17 yards, (but -10 for a sack, so 7 yards total), and you want us to think that it was him that won the game? Are you high?
@joesakic91 Жыл бұрын
@Tom Knapp So what? Eli Manning still has to lead Big Blue to those 10 points off two Kyle Williams lost fumbles where the San Francisco 49era defense, who tied with the Green Bay Packers for the most takeaways with 38 in 2011, can get it right back. Oh, and Eli helped the Giants convert more third downs (7-1) and had two red zone touchdowns (2-0) than the 49ers. Keep hating. The more you hate and diss Eli, the sweeter his two Super Bowl titles and Super Bowls are and boost his Pro Football Hall of Fame credentials.

Alot of QB would had been shell shocked or out of the game. You may not like Eli but he was one tough guy. He won 2 super bowls that is why you draft a guy no.1 doesn't matter that he wasn't his brother. If you draft a QB and win a super bowl it's a success, well he won 2 and people still hate on him
@iamhungey123453 жыл бұрын
Let me guess, you think Kerry Collins was a better QB? Also mind you the Giants offense that season scored 394 points. Low scoring? Eli spend much of the season carrying the team just to keep them relevant in contention before their defense finally comes around in the Jets game. Never mind that the 49ers ranked 2nd in scoring defense that year.
