I generally like Roth. He seems to be happy working within the horror field, so I say stick with it. I like him much more that Rob Zombie. I've never seen Knock Knock. I'll check in to it.

Knock knock is wild lol definitely worth a watch

Yeah I also like his movies more than Rob Zombies if I had to choose.

i think they have similar styles and i have always wanted to see Eli Roth and Rob Zombie write and direct a few times together. i can only LOL at the thought of them making a HEAVY R "Barbie" or trailer trash Twilight remake

I must have been the only person that liked Knock Knock. I had fun 😂 but he does more than just the gore he's branded with. I really liked his indie film The Stranger, and the first Hostel had an artistic approach to it... or maybe im just a trash fangirl, and enjoy torture porn 😂

😂 I mean Knock Knock was just irritating to me. Not saying it was a bad movie. I am glad some people get to enjoy it. I absolutely loved The Stranger but he did not direct it so I had to exclude it from the video.

@horrorsickness totally understandable! I think it was well acted considering they did what they were meant to: make us annoyed or laugh 🤗

@@screamprincess_m i liked Knock Knock too. it's a remake that is even better after you watch it on commentary track hearing the cast explain little details like the kitchen mess scene.

He's fine as a director. I'm not a fan so much as a passive viewer. His movies have memorable moments but lack something with the characters themselves.

I agree. I am not like a super fan but appreciate his movies and work in horror

Knock Knock is a dark comedy (according to Roth) and Hostel 2 is so much better than 1. It is the epitome of female empowerment.

Not really. The only thing that saved the woman in the 2nd movie was having a lot of money.
