I'm a big fan of Tomac, have been for a long time. He's a beast. Just saw him 3 weeks ago in the flesh here in Perth Western Australia at the WSX and he was just as fast as I imagined and have seen on the TV all this time. I'm Australian and so of course I am a fan of the Hunter brothers. They are super quick too. I'm looking forward to the 2025 season of both SX and MX with a fit and on form Tomac and the Hunter brothers. Roczen is killing it as are a bunch of others so it's going to be great racing I reckon. The only thing I can see that may be a slight spanner in the works for Tomac is the departure ofJeremy Coker. Can only hope this sudden departure doesn't upset the dynamic at Star Racing Yamaha and won't affect Tomac and his incredible hunger, speed and desire to win. As for age, I think the sport needs to stop putting a number on it. A guy who is fit, strong, still has the desire to go fast and live the gruelling lifestyle to continue fighting for wins should be able to continue a lot longer than the time frame thats being placed upon these gladiators. I'd like to see Tomac continue for another 10 years at least, but I'm greedy for his ability and style 😃. We lost Dungey, Carmichael and James Stewart far too early, sadly.

I agree and with Tomac only having a couple of big injuries has allowed him to stay strong physically and mentally in these later years. I have a feeling Tomac is gonna right in the mix this year, hopefully!

This field is so stacked everyone has their advantages. Consistency wins the title whoever stays healthy and on the box wins. At this level one mistake is devastation. I love the battle not domination. And that field nobody will dominate.

Been much better before. Jett vs tomac not much of a stacked field.
@@mjeezey9871 like I said Jett and Tomac. Not real stacked

Jett and Hunter will be 1 and 2. I don't see anything changing from last year. They are too consistently good at starts and that is half the battle.

i don't think tomac is gonna have the speed to be in the top 3. if he does, he's gonna have nothing for jett, though

Who are the 3-5 people that are going to keep him out of the top 3 week after week? Jett, Hunter, Chase are really the only ones that may be faster on any given day. Cooper does Cooper things but I don't think he's faster than Tomac almost ever. Ando hasn't shown it in the last two years. Roczen hasn't looked the same in WSX. Tomac did well in SMX, killed it at Des Nations, and has been getting faster. I just don't see how you can think he isn't a top 3. Jett should still be betting favorite but anything can happen and this is the healthiest Tomac we'll get to see against Jett.

@JHebb91 there you have it, you said it. Jett, hunter, And sexton are gonna keep him out of the top 3. One thing i considered was that WSX has the outdoor style of track to it, so Im hesitant to use that as a measure of his speed compared to everyone else. i think jett, webb, Hunter (maybe Hunter), and Sexton, will be faster on a regular basis. I think he is gonna need to get the hole shots to stay in the top 4. if he gets a 5th place start, i think he ends up there. of course, this is assuming everyone else gets good starts. I agree, Anderson probably won't be a factor, but i think, him, Stewart, roczen, maybe prodo, and possibly Ferandis get in his way too often, also.
@JHebb914 сағат бұрын
@@reloadingfun I think you mean SMX, not WSX is "outdoorsy". WSX is glorified arenacross and is a crap series. I guess we just disagree. I think a healthy Tomac is at Sexton speed. Hunter is maybe same level maybe one step back. Webb is an anomaly and I don't know where to place him. He's looking good though. If Tomac doesn't get hurt, I don't see how Webb finishes ahead of him. Jett is clear #1, Tomac is clear top 3 to me. Tomac was going to win 2023 until his achilles popped. Sexton is really the only one I can see being better than him on paper. He does Sexton things all the time + KTM drama. Prado could surprise. He's obviously an extremely talented rider and he probably held back last year since he wasn't in it for the long haul and didn't want to get injured. Stew and Roczen will struggle to break top 5 but might have a few flash performances. I think Ferrandis is cooked but he could prove me wrong.

Ya and Eli beat Jett several times. Several coming back early from his injury way to early and wasn’t 100%. Jett even wiped out twice trying to run Tomac’s pace that wasn’t even healed yet. Then SMX 1st race he couldn’t catch Tomac and the next one if Tomac didn’t miss his jumps several times he would have won that as well. So no it won’t be easy for the young man. Tomac is the only one to beat Jett and stay ahead of him.
@MrTimbo3189 күн бұрын
Talk the talk. No one will beat Jett. The only thing that beats Jett is Jett. He will win every title again if not injured.
