This switch to Star was like a shot of adrenaline for Eli's entire being. He's seemed so much happier and full of life all year long, even in the "dog days" of the outdoor season, he just had a real even-keeled confidence about him. He's so much more charismatic now. He just seems really happy and content right now. I'm really happy for him, he's always been a legendary rider, but now he finally had the season to cement him there, especially this far into his career. 2022 SX Champ, 2022 MX Champ, 2022 MXoN Champ. That's it, he won ALL the things.

I've never heard Eli genuinely laugh before I don't think. Like at 18:47 JT says "100 Million Dollars? You can't think of a lot of things I WON'T do for 100 Million Dollars" and you can hear Eli crackin' up. It's so amazing how much he's opened up in the last 30 days alone.

I think it's because he knows (or at least thinks) he's at the end of his professional career so he doesn't have to be as reserved and cautious with his speech. Just look at how RV opened up after he retired.. Tomac is doing the same thing. Though, TBH, it could also be because he's winning everything, which he never did before, or maybe he's just getting older. Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@johnnyvivic8730 I think you're 100% right, I wanted to specualte about all that too but didn't want my comment to be 10 miles long lol. I think it's a combination of age (because I'm Eli's age (28) and I've noticed that with myself in the last couple years. I've also started taking Delta-8 weed gummies now that they're legal too, maybe that have something to do with me being more talkative lol, but then again Eli DOES live in Colorado 🤔🤔🤔 lol maybe he's still in a weed afterglow and that's why he's so content and talkative lol.

What’s impressive is they scored 16 pts in slop. Thts one of the lowest scores in this scoring format and Eli cruised last moto he could have gained a couple more. In recent history only Belgium scored lower but it wasn’t in a sloppy track. In a dry track this team scored 14 or less! I just want to ad that in 2016 we were going to win that one but Anderson couldn’t finish the they had to drop his DNS if he races he could have finished anywhere top6 and they win that Nations!! He won his other moto in pretty sure he could have cruised to a 6th and won that nations!!

Let the man retire healthy!! The pace that cat rode in the outdoors is dangerous as hell. And that's why you don't see Roczen even trying to match it any more. The reason Dungey retired was trying to ride Eli's pace, and he fell and hurt his neck.....like wheelchair kinda bad. Sexton is young and dumb.....it's the only reason he even tried! And NEXT year, he's gonna be going at it with the saucy Aussie....those two pushing each other is going to be interesting indeed. It's cool to turn on the TV and watch, but it is extremely dangerous at those speeds....Godspeed Eli, and thanks for so many amazing, heart stopping rides......

Could people stop always thinkin they will retire when it gets hard?. People speculate about roczen retiering for 3 years now. And now we ask Tomac?. Did never once think that. In Villopotos case we can see in his documentary that he had to deal woth so much mental stuff cause of his family wich made him prolly hate motocross at some point. Now he is in a better place. Dungey is just smart and prolly just said "I gonna leave healthy" while in actuallity still loving the sport that's why he came back. Reed would still race no cap. Stewart also had a mental fight kinda equal to villopoto actually I guess. It is somewhat beeing disgusted by beeing treated like a star while you know few people out of the bubble actually know you. But let me tell you one thing. And I want to make that clear. If Tomac or Roczen wouldn't ABSOLUTELY love racing dirtbikes they wouldn't have ever made it to what they have made it to. Granted Roczen got hurt a lot but I hope you guys get what I mean. You can love motocross the way I do. I don't ride anymore but I love seeing those guys battle it out. But very few people have the actual equal love of riding the bike itself no matter what they say. And if you make it THIS FAR! there aren't many people on planet earth that love riding or think more about riding then you. So stop it. I know you guys are hurt by stew, villo and dungey. But by now we know Dungey would think different nowadays prolly and for stewart and villopoto. I don't want to harm anyone saying this but I really think both of them had to fight legitemate depressions

One of the most ridiculously asinine comments ever . This isn't the Eli who raced Herlings years ago this is a vastly improved dominant beast who would make Herlings scream for his mommy . Maybe if Jeffery didn't crash out and get injured so much he would have been able to line up and get his ass kicked by the greatly improved Tomac but he was on the sidelines injured once again.
@remkodupont7903

@@2216sammy Greatly improved ? He's finally becoming somewhat closer to Jeffrey speed wise but in the USA Eli is, together with Sexton, dominant. We've seen what happened when Eli tried to match Jeffrey's speed during the IronMan. He crashed and decided to lower his speed before killing himself trying to keep up with Jeffrey. Anyways ... lets make it happen !!! Herlings vs Tomac one on one and may the glorious Dutch be victorious. Greetings from the Netherlands.
