Herlings mentioned the MXON 2014 or 15 it was Tomac and Dungey was his teammate. That race Eli crashes on the start comes from dead last up to 3rd railing the outsides that race is on KZbin! It’s one of the races that made me a fan of Eli! He had a shot at the lead but fell again and finished 3rd! He was the fastest guy on the track super impressive! Unless you really pay attention, it is difficult to see the difference between Herlings or Tomac and everybody else. Think about it like this. If they win a 35 minute moto by 20 seconds, which would be considered an ass-whipping, you're looking at less than 1% difference in speed between the winner and 2nd place. That means that in a section of the track that Eli gets through in 30 seconds, it would take the next guy 30.3 seconds to get through. My point is that they can look at a corner or a rough section of a track and see that 1% when nobody else can. That's what makes them champions.
