That defence you slagged has given up the fewest shots and the fewest grade A chances of all teams in the playoffs. If their goalie could have stopped a beach ball this series would be over

The disrespect Bouchard gets league wide is astounding. I’d take him over Pietrangelo and it’s not even close at this point. The guy is averaging almost 30 mins a game in this series and dominating. Try watching the game man he’s a bonafide #1 defenceman.

Gotta stop paying these guys a kings ransom before you see them in playoffs. (Marner?)

For Petey to get an assist with the current linemates is harder than scoring a goal.

The Canucks have been fleeced. EP40 has no intention of playing hard hockey anymore. He has his $100 million and now is retired.

So what do you do if you're the armchair GM for the 'nucks? Petterson for Marner??? Easy to complain, hard to solution.

When you’re 150 lbs and the temperature gets turned up in playoffs and there is more bumping and less space. True colors come out. Peterson isn’t the only “star” player to be invisible these playoffs. 🤷🏼♂️ just my opinion

There's definitely validity to this. But why was he over 1 pt a game in the bubble?? Does the crowd rock him that much??

Canucks should trade him to Toronto. He would fit in.

He's been strapped with pylons all year long. Yet he's a 80+ points guy. Give him some wingers who know what to do with the puck.

Yes, I totally agree

It's a fair bet which ever team wins tonight... is the team that will win the series. The Canucks low shots on net is a disturbing stat. They need to play a balanced game, you can't hit everything in sight and neglect to shoot the puck on net. Sounds strange but they hit too much, they sacrifice a scoring opportunity and instead elect to take a player into the boards. The Juulsen mistake of cranking Echolm is a prime example. That Miller misplay on the blocked Bouchard winning goal was rudimentary... if he's not prepared to give 100% effort in stopping the buck...get the fuck outta the way, that was lethargicly feeble. He lost the game for the Canucks.

I hear rumors that he did well with Kuzemko

Toronto has the same problem with Marner. There’s certain players who are too soft mentally in the playoffs and are scared of playing the body.

Defensive juggernaut and proceeds to list a bunch of defenseman in there mid 30s on the decent. What joke.

These Calgary dummy media personals have a very deep hate over Edmonton oilers. No respect once so ever for Edmonton’s defensive game..

Oilers were one of the best defence this year so these comments are stupid

Peterson for Marner lol

Not every player takes pride in winning; some just treat it as a job. Despite EP40 always emphasizing that he plays to win, clearly he hasn’t lived up to his words.
