I liked Isabella supporting Elias and trying to keep the peace between Elias and Sebastian.Elias keeps showing me what a strong and proud gay man he is.Elias doesn't need protection from anybody it seems.He always stands up for what he believes is right.I think the show handled that situation very well in showing Sebastian's concerns and then Isabella saying Oliver doesn't know his own sexuality yet and Elias explaining sex is adults like daddy and mommy and Miska and me.I really love this programme:)

i agree with most of what you say. isabella is being unusually awesome :-) but re: elias -- it just seems to me that there may be a fine line between being "strong and proud" & having a chip on your shoulder. he doesn't seem to notice that sebastian IS trying. and he seems to be oblivious to the fact that all sebastian really wants is to be closer to his son. and elias doesn't seem to comprehend that education is, sometimes, an interactive process -- how is sebastian supposed to learn if elias doesn't help him learn? elias just gets mad and leaves, or mutters under his breath and leaves. i mean, indignation is all well and good, but he expects to receive understanding & compassion, but doesn't always show it to others, y'know?

Isabella is like that. She can be bitchy and scheme evil plans to get what she wants, but inside she's actually very smart, open-minded and caring woman who also is capable of helping others like Ida with anorexia and now Elias :)

QUESTION: does anyone else think that Lari will be moving into Elias' old room? i mean once elias' former roommate (the doctor --i can't remember her name, at the moment) hears that lari is actusally homeless AND ill, it's totally within her character to offer him the, now, spare room. Oliver is too young to know anything. He will accept what he is told and the family handled it perfectly. Kids walk in on their parents having sex at all ages. It doesn't scar them for life. They just need to have things explained to them calming and they will be fine. Oliver lives in a world where he may have friends with gay or lesbian parents and there are gays and lesbians kissing on tv. It's good that he learns at home that it's normal and nothing to be scared of.

I really liked that episode, because people that see themselves as liberal and not homophobic might freak out when children are exposed to seeing homosexual couples sharing tenderness. Something in them still thinks little kids can be taught to be homosexual although they themselves think they already know better.

I think based on Elias' past when others were quick to criticize and condemn him for being gay, he is overly sensitive about this issue. His father wasn't mad because Elias and Mishka were having sex under his roof. His father did not want Oliver, who is slightly older than a toddler, to know about sex - be it gay or straight. And I understand and agree with that position. Elias needs to calm down and realize his father still loves him and supports his and Mishka's relationship.

That may be true but was Sebastian said was "I don't think it is good for Oliver to see too boys having sex" which is not the same thing as not wanting Oliver to see ANYONE having sex and Elias simply called him out on that. He even asked if he had been with a girl would Sebastian respond the same way and Sebastian had no response because he realized Elias was right. Lari stayed over with Iida and Sebastian didn't respond negatively to it. Obviously Elias didn't mean for Oliver to run in and see him but that is a separate issue from how Sebastian responded and the words he used and the yelling. Sebastian didn't raise Elias, he has to get to know him and Elias has to get to know Sebastian. But also, Sebastian has to accept that Elias will be sexually active with other boys. Remember when Elias was making out with the other boy at the door back when they lived with Kataarina and Sebastian was all squirmy? He just has to get used to it. They way Elias handled it and explained it to Oliver was perfect and I think Sebastian will get more comfortable.

This is how I see it, Sebastian was way out of line. Why does he act like miska and elias had sex in front of oliver on purpose. I get that he was angry but he needs to realize that elias has been living like a bachelor lifestyle. He comes as he goes and does as he pleases, that's how he's been living Sebastian needs to realize that. To Elias, he needs to calm the fuck down. He decided to move in with his dad, he just cant start having sex at his new place. Have some respect towards your dad, you decided to live there and there's some rules that he needs to follow. And he should stop freaking out about his dad's reaction. He's accepting of your lifestyle but there's still a comfort level that he's not use to. You can't expect him to be like your friends who don't mind you doing some pda. He needs to understand where Sebastian is coming from.

please forgive me if I had said this already, but Sebastian, as much as I think he is hot hot hot, is still not comfortable with his son being a sexually active homosexual. He said "2 guys having sex is not something a child should see". Let me make this clear, IT IS COMPLETELY WRONG FOR ANY CHILD TO SEE ANY 2 PEOPLE HAVING SEX, M and F, MM or FF. No child should be sexualised at all, it is deeply psychologically harmful for them to be subjected to that repeatedly. But sadly, Sebastian singled out gay men when he made his comment, and therefore implied that had Oliver walked in on a man and a woman together being intimate, then it would not have been as bad or even no big deal.

In Finnish language many things are very subtle and they are hard to explain or translate to other language. But overall it definitely did not sound like he has problems with gays in Finnish. Sebastian clearly was bit uncomfortable seeing his son in bed with another guy, but I don't think he was so upset because of the fact that there were two guys (what Elias claimed) but the fact that Oliver saw sex in first place.

I've come across this show and I only get one clip per week. Which socks. I really love this show even though I can only get it in german with subtitles in english. I'm from texas in the united states. I'm eagerly waiting for more elias and lari love story fix. They belong together. Mishka a great guy but he's not right for elias. Lari is. I say ship them back together soon. And let them be a couple alone where they can be happy and no drama from anyone.

Well Elias has never lived with his little brother so I think he just never thought about ti before and in his defense, no one was home or was supposed to be for a while. I think Sebastian and Elias are just getting used to living together and what that entails. They will figure it out. They have a strong bond now and it's growing. It's nice to see Elias giving Sebastian a chance and getting to know his little bro.

I beg you pardon?! First of all Elias in the series is a minor having same sex relationship with a guy at age. Secondary He's just moved into Isabella place & he has gay sex with the bedroom door wide open. I was straight once & married for 17 yrs & I can tell you if my under age son did bring home his 18 yrs old boyfriend I would have gone mad too, especially when my 3 yrs old find the two of them sucking each other in bed.
