Very well done. Few people ever take the time to study geometric properties of the plane and drawings.

You are awesome!! I followed along with this entire tutorial as someone just getting started with adobe illustrator CC and I can tell you your teaching style is one of the best projects I've ever had the pleasure of creating and it worked just as it did in your video!! Thank you so much!! I have subscribed to your chanel and I will share your video also!! :)

You have a fine way to explane your tutorial. The patternpart was very usefull for me. For the grid with all the lines in it, my way is much faster. I'll keep following you!

LOL.......as usual, great instruction, super clear - and it was great for me up until clicking on Pattern Builder which is CS6. I'm on CS4. wah wah! But still, great info for how to train my brain on making geometric patterns and playing with shapes! thanks Elias!

thanks Elias for your effort and great tutorial :) ... i want to ask about the shortcuts you used when you start use pen tool to draw i think you say release and deselect i cant understand how to make it !.
@EliasSarantopoulos8 жыл бұрын
Can you please be more specific, which minute for example?
@rihamkaram9098 жыл бұрын
Elias Sarantopoulos yes 03.48
@EliasSarantopoulos8 жыл бұрын
Riham, just click and drag to create the curve path and then release the mouse. but what is important is what I say right after that. For example, whatever is the last tool you used before the Pen tool using the Ctrl key. Practice with that and its very handy!
@rihamkaram9098 жыл бұрын
Thanks Elias for your time ..I use pen tool easily but the Ctrl key is exactly my question I understand now I will use it ..thanks again

Of course, anytime Riham, always ask questions! Again thank you for watching!

Great tutorial! i loved it. when i tried it out, i noticed that my version doesn't have the 'pattern' - button in objects... Do you maybe know another option? :-) Liz

Ligili Unfortunately I don't own an older version of Illustrator, which version are you running?
@Lizezcken6 жыл бұрын
hey Elias, i run the CS5.
@EliasSarantopoulos6 жыл бұрын
Ligili I see, it seems the tool not part of it. Have you considered to upgrade? So many great things have been added to make work easier otherwise the main tools still exist in your version.

Hey Elias! Your videos are so good and easy to follow! Would you possibly be able to do some more on geometric patterns? Particularly Sacred Geometry patterns. This also seems like something of interest to you.. Please let me know thank you!

Justin Case Check out the other AI lectures up on the channel, no need for CS6 on those. Eventually consider buying the CC, if you are a student it comes quite cheap every month. Thanks for watching Justin, much appreciated!
