Jason from Mash & Drum got peanut vibes from it. Everyone's palate is different. To be honest I never am disappointed by Elijah Craig. I got C923 at MSRP last year and I'll hunt this down thanks for review 👍🏻🥃

I saw that! It was interesting to hear that. Sometimes the oak and nuttiness can get a little confusing and can come across as the same. IMO it's a well balanced Cask Strength Bourbon and offered what it is I enjoy in the ECBP. Cheers and thanks for watching and sharing 🥃

No Doubt, drinks lower in proof and the Viscosity of this Series is amazing. Great Complexity and oily/ creamy mouthfeel. It really flows so smoothly across the palate for a cask strength. 💕

I am really new to bourbon but, not so new that I didn’t know what this was when I saw it today. I’m excited to have my first ever ECBP but a bit nervous about the higher proof for a newbie.

Cheers to you and if you're a bit nervous about it, start by drinking it chilled, it will help with some of the heat and as it gets closer to room temp, more of the full flavors will start to come out. It's a,nice little way to start learning how to enjoy higher proof whiskey as the colder whiskey starts out a little more muted but again as it warms, more of thise flavors will come out. I typically love ECBP but this year's A&B came off as too spicy for me. Heat, I can handle. Spicy? Not so much. Did you find this batch to be less baking-spice heavy than A&B?
