I hated my B524 when I opened, it was harsh and bitter. I did try again a week after and then another week after that and same thing. I forgot about it and I tried it today about a month or so after I opened and I am so happy that this thing change for the good. I couldn’t believe how much it changed. Well I like it now. 😅

Just opened my C924 last night. Love it! Way better than the A batch. Skipped right over B (haven’t opened it yet).

I totally agree, I hated B batch when I opened. It was harsh and bitter and it decided to give me the best surprise more than a month after. Cannot believe how good it got.

I was gonna buy my first ever ECBP this year a couple weeks ago, first year in bourbon, walked into my store and I guess they like… found? A case of A123, so I bought that instead, did not expect to find an almost 2 year old bottle there, they have the c924 now, considering buying it. A123 I didn’t enjoy that much on first pour, but I’ve almost killed the bottle it’s opened up so well

I think i got a bad A batch as it's one of the worst whiskeys I've had. Couldn't even mix it into a decent old fashioned and enjoy it. But the C batch i tried yesterday and it's sooo much better even as a fresh crack!

Hopefully the C batch is closer to the B batch this year. The A batch was the only ECBP I've disliked. Had a earthy/glass noted that I hated

I love B this year - bought a couple cases. A wasn’t great at first crack, but I revisited a few weeks ago and enjoyed. Just tried the C - didn’t wow me. Thinking it will open up nicely given some time.

Thanks for saving me money. C batch has been hiked up in Mom and pop stores by me to $90 before tax. I have an A and B batch and if it’s all closer or similar with no differences, I’m not gonna waste money on C Batch.

I have a hard time understanding this video. A124 is hot garbage. It’s so different than every other ECBP I’ve ever tasted.
