Keeping shoulders steeper in transition feeling that through impact while extending was key for me. Very insightful! As a 7 handicap this is really helpful in getting further control and compression.

Is it hard to transition this into non full swing shots like 30-80 yard pitch shots?

I've been working on this exact drill for a few weeks now. I've noticed that when I start hitting balls using this posture, I tend to dig the toe of the club into the ground a little before impact. Not a full fat shot, but just enough to reduce distance. Any idea why that may be happening?

It should be... for me it is the same but then it get improve and hit better impact.

I don't think this is gonna work for me...I already hit fat...this will make me hit REALLY FAT! I dip already be it at waist or knees...this will make me worst. And it think it makes contact more difficult...changing radius. In clays slo mo...he hardly bends down at the waist at all. I could not really detect it.

Did great without club, once holding club everything falls apart..:(
