Eliminated!! Every days a school day with youngsters

Took the kid to his second ever One Day Event and this was a proper one! Involved 3 water jumps, 7 combinations and a ditch with no alternative in the woods! I know Ely Eventing Centre can be tough but wasn't expecting it to be this tough especially as it was an unaffiliated Riding Club putting it on!
Took lots away from the day though and came away thrilled with the kid :0)

I so love Archie. He is so handsome and I just love his little bucks when he’s out at first. He did so well as conditions were not ideal and yes the jumps were a bit more difficult but once he knew what to do he popped over them. Am sure he learnt a lot from it and once he’s had his wee holiday he will be ready for some more education ❤❤🌟🌟

Thank you 🙏🏻 no confidence lost for either of us ☺️ he took a lot away from that and was always happy to come back second attempt 🙌 he’s now just had a week off and back in work so I think some XC lessons would be good and some grid work sessions to help coordinate his hooves. He knows he was a good boy ☺️
