I got a hair salon gift card for my birthday. I ordered a Goldwell Kerasilk treatment. They did a chemical straightening on me. My hair looks extremely damaged and thin now. I cried throughout my birthday party. I'm 23 and I cried on my birthday party.

I blow out my hair and I love my keratin treatment. I'm not one to colour my hair. I love my hair being naturally dark, so this is my treat for myself, it keeps my hair soft and manageable also makes my blow-outs look amazing.

Did you ever try the curly hair method? My friend has similar hair texture as yours and always struggled to straighten it, but since she went to wavy curly method her hair actually looks much healthier.

I just had the kerasilk keratin treatment done and I bought the kerasilk control shampoo and I noticed it contains sulfate!! Which confused me because I am suppose to use it and it should be sulfate free to protect the treatment

Getting my keratin treatment next week, so glad I found your video. Though I’m a bit nervous as I’m dyed blonde, which is why it is so damaged. Puts my mind at ease that it will be worth it though ❤️

Keratin is a protein. A keratin treatment is wonderful for blondes as it ADDS protein to weakened hair by the blonding process. Good luck! (Yes I am a licensed hairdresser!)

Hey Hannah, curious if you still have to blow dry your hair after washing or is the ‘after’ look just air dried hair? I hate blow drying my hair and avoid at all cost, so crossing my fingers your answer is air dry!

Hi Hannah! Do you know what combo you used with the kerasilk? Eg medium smooth and intense shape? Also - if you do a rough blow dry without a brush does it dry straight? Thanks!
