I had the exact same one. My Grandpa bought it new a Grainger in 72 or '73. I used it until the early 90's. Was great!

If you apply a thin later of vaseline over the stickers , overspray is easy to remove.

I just recieved a mower from a neighbour,,832 Dynamark, runs great. There no reverse ,,,,is there an adjustment to be made or is it a internal problem?

What trans axel is in that? I have a green star riding mower that’s the exactly the same as that but green with the name green star. I need to find parts for it or buy a identical replacement transaxle. It’s the same 3 speed with reverse.

Hello and thanks for the videos on this mower. I have just bought this same mower as a restoration project. I have the handle for the deck belt engage, but I don’t have the spring. Is there a specific spring I can buy or do I have to do trial and error on the strength of spring I buy?

Excellent editing on this video may be one of your best yet! Eliminators the 8HP B&S air filter is Stens #100-545 and since Jake has an account his actual cost was $4.06 with free shipping, list price $10.95 so a great savings from Stens.

I purchased an 836 last year. 5285-1600. Can't find that noma belt pdf. When I go to that website it says it's not available anymore. I'm assuming my deck belt would be the same as yours, 5/8x70 but I have no way to confirm. Any chance you could post that pdf?

Not sure, I'll have to do some research on how to do stuff like that in the "discussion" area of KZbin

It says either a 5/8" by 69" or a 5/8" x 70" You could get 1 (I'd start with the 70") and if it don't work get the 69 Nothing came up for -1600 though so I'm not sure Sorry I can't help any further! Good luck!

Eliminator Performance I tried a 71 and it fit fairly well, but not enough grip to get the job done. I'll order a 70 and see. I assume it can't be much different than the 836 you featured. Other than the color it looks exactly the same.

Yeah like I said, either a 70" or a 69" should fit good

Excellent video Sir. I have a 1975 Dynamark 8/36 that I love. My father rode me around on it when I was a child. We stored it properly 6 years ago. Pulled it out this week. Fresh gas and battery later, runs like a champ. Looking forward to checking the brakes. The question I have is at full throttle, the engine seems to be running a bit faster than I remember. Does it have a govenor or adjustment on the carb to slow it down just a bit? Runs awesome otherwise.

Robsbrd99 Thank you! It may be running a bit lean, try adjusting the main jet at the bottom of the carb! Screw it in until it runs rough, screw it out until it runs rough, try to find the center of that! Check out this video for help with brakes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppe7pqpqr95geNk

Excellent you should mention that! I noticed it had a sputter and went down to that screw and went just a smidge clockwise and it cleaned that up nicely. Very well could be that its running a bit differently than I remember. Always able to drop the idle lever down just a little bit. Thank you very much!

Also changed the oil. Does need at least a deck belt. Probably gonna do both. I really can't then of anything else to do to it. Already runs so nice as is. It's just something how a 40 + year old mower comes out of hibernation so easily. Probably because its seen one tank of ethanol and was drained right after. 😂😂😂😂
