In this video we take a look at a rider that a customer of ours gave to us, it didn't run, had a dead battery, and needed a carb clean!
We remove the carburetor, hook up the battery booster to check the starter circuit and disassemble and clean the carburetor!

Interesting question. I have a 1974 Dynamark 8/36. The engine was replaced in 1990. It's got a small oil leak. I need to add every other cutting session. It's the backup to a Deere. Was thinking about trying one of those 10w 30 high mileage oils to see if the leak might get better. Thought I'd get your thoughts.

Add some lucas oil stabilizer at 20% mixture, if that doesn't work try an oil stop leak. Won't hurt those old engines.

i have the same tractor. would like to know the year. it's like a lime green metallic, had the 8hp briggs and swapped it to an 11hp briggs. i chose the dynamark over another tractor that i got as junk because well.. i like the looks of the old dynamark!

I just finished the spindles and painting the deck on my 74 Dynamark. The engine is 30 years old with blow by to the plug and is a leaker. Was wondering if the 11 horse runs as good as I think it will. Might try that swap too

I've got a dynamark 11/36 and I took my deck off but I can't find my bypass wire so it won't start, do you know where its located and how I can connect it?

8 HP B&S air filter from Stens part number 100-545 retails at $11 + tax in Cdn. $ so your making nice profit just on the air filter and looks like your ultrasonic cleaner did a nice job cleaning the carburetor.

The throttle linkage inserts, can't you just have them 3D printed?

Probably, if you had an original one and could replicate it, then it wouldn't be a bad idea

I believe you, we sold it and it's now black lol my friend Steve purchased it and it's had an engine swap done to it as well to increase hp.

@@EliminatorPerformance Just out of curiosity, is the 8 horse engine still around? I'm not good enough to change to a different engine but, I THINK I could get mine loose and move the wires from one to the other one at a time IF the time comes.
