Anime is a borderline taboo here in the US, largely due to being broadly disliked by either political party, and partly because it was trendy to hate it in the west for a while. Still a lot of weebs here, but we tend to keep to our own, or stay in the closet. I envy how open SEA is about your love of anime.

This remind me while working at one lasercutt fabric; I was along my CoWorker drawing some new vectors, then, to keep from falling asleep, my coworker started singing the opening of Hantaro (the portuguese version) louder as he can in the shed. and I was "what?" Then the sector mananger came with "what heck are you doing!?" and he picked a plastic ball (used for blow machines) and throw at him, the ball broked and he: "Oh not, I didn't caught him", he launched another one and since it won't broke, so he screamed "Hell yeah, I caught a Fernando!" Man what crazy days.. At end we didn't fall sleep while working.

Because I love music I don’t want people judging me for any of the songs I listen to which is all just anime or games. Probably just me but I'm open with my anime hobbies at work before the pandemic ruined my life. I managed to recommend several anime titles to totally down to earth normies and they got hooked. I casually ask if they like hard action with good plot or something with high fantasy. Both questions result in me recommending Shingeki no Kyojin or Isekai Slime

The proprietess ara ara one... the tsundere childhood friend... and a young high school girl succubus.. i was at the bathing and left behind my playlist playing on the bckground when i heard the proprietess starting her introduction and idle talk before the deed... i jump out of the bath run to my room shut it off... thnkfully no one is at home so... close call... haha
