I had the honour of attending a Greek-Hindi-Russian lesson with this great teacher in São Paulo, Brazil. She was amazing! I took in some Greek and Russian but missed the Hindi as I had to leave to catch the bus home. I shall never forget Μιλάω ελληνικά!

Everyone is different to be honest. Some may thrive learning multiple languages, some may just get confused. Try both and see what works for you.

I've decided she's right about being able to study multiple languages at once ... bringing out my beginner's Lithuanian again!

Was abit low and frustrated because am learning french and korean my french is better and felt the need to drop one language to work on another plus I've changed my method trying Lydia Machova's system method i guess there's no giving up... I just need clarification on how do you select reading books is it children's books or which ones?
@Hofer23044 жыл бұрын
Children's books are a good reading material, but you can also read more complex stuff. Use the languages you want to learn. Use them daily, or at least almost daily.

Look for "graded readers" in your target language
@batgirlp55612 жыл бұрын
Use graded readers in the foreign language. Children's books are written for children or for adults to read to children, not for foreign language learning. They use words you will never use, such as 'squishy ' or the names of monsters, not the words needed for your A2 (or whatever level) learning.
