I would be there on a near daily basis myself. I love everything I’ve seen that she carries!! That said, I have been to her online site and do intend to make some purchases. My only problem is that I am in the states and I am “sooooo” tiny,along purchases online is not always easy for me.

A wardrobe is so personal. It is the real heart and creative energy of the person who owned it, wore it in good times of life and bad days too. They laundered it over and over and proudly hung up in their closet. They traveled with it and wore to weddings, birthdays and just an ordinary day. Beautiful. I would love to look at it all. Hi Elise! I had the good fortune to receive my paternal grandmother’s wardrobe when she passed. Not much of it fit me and I took it to a local consignment store. They said it was too dated. I put an ad in the local paper and invited women to come over and go through the clothing for free and everything went. Giving my stylish grandma’s clothing to real women was a beautiful thing. I appreciate how you respect that those clothes are a sign of a woman’s life. Be well!!

I always thought it'd be kinda cool if, when someone passed away, there was a service that took their old clothes and turned them into a patchwork quilt for the family of the deceased. Imagine having a quilt made of all the clothes you grew up seeing your loved one wearing.

I almost cried when you showed the gold clutch. My grandmother left me one almost exactly like it, it even had the little coin purse, the only difference was my grandmother left a gold compact inside it. I loved that clutch, and someone stole it. It broke my heart.

I got so emotional watching this... My grandmother also loved to make her own clothes, she was born in 1927. I don't know if my father kept anything from her wardrobe, but she had a black bag very similar to the gold one and I hope I can find it in my parents attic. Lovely video Elise, thank you ♥️

A lifetime of clothes and memories...never has the the phrase ‘her-story’ been so apt. Makes me wish I’d had a chance to have my grandmother’s clothes. She loved and looked after them them so well, and would always talk about what she was going to wear with which, stories/memories of events through the clothes and accessories she wore, remembered where she’d bought everything, give us a fashion show of new purchases. She loved clothes all her life, had an amazing eye and memory for colour. Clothes were a big part of her life, although they came second to her family. Wow, I got a bit emotional when I saw that clutch bag, my mom had one just like it back in the 60’s with matching coin purse. And the little mirror just blew me away!
