Whenever my ex-husband goes back to Ireland where he is from he puts one suitcase inside another so he ends up filling the extra one with chocolate and crisps and tea and brings back two full suitcases.

The top with the satin back is beautiful and you could replace the back with either a thick plain colour fabric or another pattern fabric. You could unpick the back and use the satin fabric as a template and cut out a replacement fabric.

Me, worrying about finding good thrift store when I move to Germany in a few months, then you got to Germany and show me the Pick & Weight! Oh my goodness! It's so lovely and a crafty persons dream. I love all of the pieces you were able to find. And you bet I googled how long it would take to get from where I'm moving to there, six hours is a drop in the bucket! I'm even more excited now! :)

I LOVED so many of these pieces!! The green capelet, the blue cotton blouse with puff sleeves, the gorgeous brown satin blouse, and the stunning velvet skirt that went with it, the tapestry jacket, the white broderie peasant blouse - all incredible! I can’t fully express how much I enjoy watching your lovely video and seeing your beautiful face and stunning sense of style! Even though I know I’m blessed to have been born and raised in American (despite its mess of a government these days), I would love to have the opportunity to jump in my car or onto a train, travel a few hours, and visit a completely different country! For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamt of traveling around Europe, and I was able to spend a week in London back in 2000. And my sweet husband just surprised me with a 5 day boat cruise originating in Paris in Nov. 2023! So, my dreams is coming true, but thanks to your channel, I’ve been able to see the beautiful sites in your wonderful country as well as the sites you visit when you travel! I also visited Denmark and its beautiful islands a few times. Now I live very rural and on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal.

Beautiful choices. Loved the adventure. Have you ever worn a scarf as a blouse under a jacket? Hold scarf in middle then tie a small knot. Tie top two ends around your neck but allow it to be loose like a cowl neck then tie bottom two ends fitted around your waist. we used to do that in the 80's. We had to wear suits and they were hot in Texas.

I love the concept and it was such a joy to watch this! I live in Berlin and we have so many wonderful spots to find vintage items, but of course the best places for high-quality vintage in your particular aesthetic are probably small German towns where the items have been lovingly cared for. I also get sad when I find so many damaged items in shops 😞 My favorite items you found are the three versatile blouses and that autumnal skirt! Great job putting this together and I hope you had fun ☺️

I don't travel with an empty suitcase. I'm trying to figure out a 'uniform' so I don't have to go shopping. I don't like shopping, and I don't like stores. I understand it's your career, so we're different there, and you have good taste. I do like your colors. I've gained a little weight, so have to take that off to get back to my preferred look. I moved to HH right after college and lived there for about 2 years and then I moved back to US. I can honestly say that I fell in love with this city a long time ago, it is one of the many beautiful places in Germany. I had the best memories and Sternschanze was my favorite spot to go shopping, and grab a cappuccino or a choko croissant right after taking my German courses. I'm so happy to see this city again. I hope you had the best of times 🥰❤

First day shopping was wonderful, so many things to look at. 1. LOVE the blouse and skirt that you picked. LOVE it. The coat and purse were adorable. 2. What is not to like about this outfit. Loved the cardigan and the tam was the cherry on the top. You were the envy of all who saw you this day. 3. The last day outfit was so cool. When you tried on the skirt and blouse in the shop I thought it best suit this skirt. Glad you purchased it. The clothes you didn't get to wear but bought are all beautiful. Good eye. If you plan to do something ike this again. Put some sewing things in a plastic box and pack it in your suitcase, so if you find a dress or piece of clothing that needs to be fixed you can do that.
