I just bought one today and shot thru the chrono, 70 lbs 30 inch draw set at 80 percent let off and 455 grain black eagle rampages at 301 fps.

Now my set up for hunting is a 520 triple x archery .204 arrow @287fps. These elites are phenomenal

Interesting that the Enkore, Ventum 33 and Solution all shot 308

Elite Kure or Encore: what one would be the better hunting bow or are both just to close to call? Is there a clear winner?

Both are great bows! To me, the enkore felt a little better than the Kure, but thats just personal preference. I think you should shoot them both and let the bows speak for themselves.

I shot the kure and it wasn't as good feeling as the enkore or remedy and actually slower than the remedy even though ibo is more on kure

I own the Kure, haven’t shot the Encore. The Kure is fantastic though. Smooth draw, great backwall. Little to no hand shock. I love it. Couldn’t be happier and got a great deal since it was on a discount as last years model.

Why isn't anyone making these archery manufacturers be held accountable for giving false information if the bow weighs 5 lb then tell us it's five lb if it shoots 320 fps then tell it shoots 320 not 350

What they CAN get it to say is what they will say, because all it takes is 1 company to be ‘optimistic’ with their specs and they’ve got (on paper) the best bow that year… you’ll find that probably without the string stop that the bow is 4.55lb’s, that the speed will be 340fps with the IBO standard 5gr per lb DW with no peep or dampers or fletching with a loose nock and that’ll be the 1 highest reading seen across 20 readings. If you follow along and pay enough attention it’s discussed very well among everyone in the archery world.

What was the total arrow weight you shot through the crono?

We normally shoot a 400gr arrow in our tests.

I shot it yesterday, it is a beautifully shooting bow, and surprisingly fast for an Elite. It draws super smooth and it has the MOST solid cable stop system I’ve ever felt. Wish it came in 80# but I may be switching from my 2014 prime alloy.

Unfortunately that was earlier in the year before we started testing decibels in our reviews. So I really don’t know. We may have to pull a few bows out to see what we have been missing.

@Mark Miela, why they offer only black limbs?! I personally love the realtree edge, limbs start off black and transition to realtree... just my $.02 though and to each their own.
